Using one of these to keep my coffee maker reservoir full. Plumbed in 1/4" tubing from the reverse osmosis system and now have a perpetually ready coffee maker.

Installed this in a large aquarium tonhelp regulate the water top off. If you know a little about plumbing you can install this easily. It seems to be good quality and the flow rate is decent. My application uses a smaller line that this is designed for so I cannot comment on max flow. For my setup I use it to automatically stop my water fill after I do a large tank clean. I use a central water supply for all my tanks and this helps me with my biggest tank so I can just turn in the water and walk away. Once setup and adjusted it works great and stops the flow right where I need it.

This valve didn’t shut the water off completely. Instead I was left with a slow leak that overflowed the tank after a few hours. I wouldn’t trust this valve if an overflow of your tank would be an issue or cause damage to your home.

This float valve works well and provides a reliable and consistent level of water to ensure a worry free operation. This is easy to install, making it a simpler option when compared to other products. The listed price is well within reason as well. A well earned 5 stars!!

This is a great filler for water tanks, it's smaller than the ones i usually get, but all metal, and is less likely for the animals to damage. The only down side is the hanger, which is really an upside in some cases, the mounting bracket. This bracket is GREAT for smaller edged tanks, so you could use this in a dog water bowl, where most of these wouldn't be possible to mount to something like that. None of my tanks have a small enough lip for this, but this small, metal filler is a design where i have never used a mount in the past for a tank, i just attach it to the pipe at the height i want, which is really useful. So really, i'd only use that mount if i was going to use it on a small tank or something, where i'd have a flexible hose connected to teh filler because i'd want to clean the tank or whatever. This is replacing a filler that i normally get, which is about 2x this price and isn't all metal, doesn't come with a bracket and has an annoying fitting on it, so i'm SUPER happy with this one. It fills the tank at a good pace, slightly slower than the bigger plastic one that i replaced with this, but both fill vastly faster than my cows could drink anyways, so it's not something i think has any meaning.

This is a well constructed plastic ball valve that is well suited to maintain water level in a stock tank or pond. Much smaller form than a 3/4 float valve allowing for many additional uses. I had to give the threads a once over with a wire brush but otherwise worked well out of the box.I am curious to see how this model holds up as previous, similar style valves have failed due the amount of debris in our water.
