I’ve got these Flood Buzz leak detectors behind my nugget ice maker, water filtration system, and RO water system, and they’ve been great for peace of mind.Pros: • Super Simple: No setup at all—just take them out of the package and put them where you need them. • Loud Alarm: The alarm is seriously loud, just like a smoke detector. I feel confident I won’t miss it if there’s ever a leak. • Perfect Size: These are small enough to tuck behind appliances without any hassle, and you barely notice they’re there.Cons: • One-Time Use Battery: The battery can’t be replaced, which means once it’s dead, you have to buy a new one. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind.Overall, I’m really happy with these. They’re a simple, no-fuss solution for keeping an eye on potential leaks, and I’ll definitely be picking up a few more for other areas of the house. Totally worth it!

We are positioning them near historical leak points around the house. We have had other, larger alarms, with the probes on the bottom that tipped over easily an then wouldn't sense a leak in the tipped over position until the water level was at least 1" deep. They will sound-off with just a small puddle. These do not send a notification that they sensed a leak to your cell phone. You need to be within earshot to know a leak was detected. They are loud enough to be heard in the house, but not when you are away from the house.

These things definitely tell ya if you have water. They work very simply by the 2 metal prongs on the bottom of them, if there is water touching those prongs, they beep and they don't stop until you physically pick them up and remove them from the water (or I guess if the battery runs out, but we haven't had that problem yet.) On 5 occasions now, these things have told us immediately that there was water and saved us from having a massive cleanup. It doesn't take much water at all either, we put them directly on the concrete floor in the utility closet and the moment there was any water, they started sounding, so you don't need to wait until there is a catastrophe amount of water (even a quarter inch of water is a lot, so I like that these basically go off with even the smallest trickle of water.) They are not very loud though, that is my only complaint. We have these in the basement, and if we are upstairs in our bedroom (just one floor above) with our door closed, we cannot hear it going off. We can hear it slightly with the door open though, so I wish that they were just slightly louder. Also, these are very basic, you cannot sync them to an app on your phone or anything, so if there is water when you aren't home, these won't tell you that. Overall, for the cost, these were DEFINITELY worth it!

Unfortunately these have already proven their value. They alerted me to an overflowing washer drain and prevented a bigger problem.Previous to these I had a similar product that couldn’t easily be dried and reused due to an integrated sponge.These can be dried off and reused quickly and easily. Inexpensive product that can help prevent water damage. Recommended!

I bought these leak alarms after a had a little mishap with my kitchen plumbing. Not sure why some reviewers stated the leak alarms were not loud enough. The alarms I received were very audible even with the cabinet drawers closed. The alarms were so easy to use and install, just remove from packaging, place in desired location and that’s it. I tested them prior to installing and found very little water is needed to set them off, extremely sensitive. The leak alarms are worth the money and peace of mind. I placed the extra alarm in my AC closet since the drain line occasionally will clog and overflow. Great product!

Like most homeowners, we have the occasional water leak inside the house. Our most recent was the AC unit overflowing due to build up in the drain. I just so happened to be awake at two in the morning when I heard the drip, drip on the floor. If I would have been sleeping, I would've awakened to a kitchen/living room full of water. Thats when I decided to purchase these little water leak detectors. Such a great idea! They are tiny so you can place them anywhere and they will be inconspicuous. The alert that the make when exposed to water is just loud enough that you will be able to hear them just about anywhere in the house. They are not as loud as a smoke detector beep but loud enough.The price is great, I plan on purchasing a couple more sets so that I have all of my potential leak areas covered.

These couldn't be easier to use. My only complaint is the level of the sound. In my case, the probem is the basement. When the alarm sounded, I couldn't hear it until I opened the basement door. Too late. The basement was flooded. These are great for areas such as under the sink.

When I first bought the Buzz alarms I thought maybe they wouldn't work so well. Well I sure was surprised to find out it does work and well. The alarm sound is good, it warned me of a flood (actually a puddle) in my basement from heavy rains. Will buy this alarm again.

These work fine,but when I read they were reusable I thought batteries were changeable.They are not.They can be dried off and reused again if you get an alarm.So they do have a lifespan and then you throw them away.So much waste in this world.

I tested the 6 units individually by standing each in a minimal layer of water on a flat bathroom sink, and all worked very well! These are very easy to use as it's a place and forget application. I did set a calendar reminder to re-check them every few months.The only negative here is that the product must have been in storage for about a year before it was shipped as the 'replace' date stamped on each unit is for just 25 months from receive date, whereas the product is rated to be good for 36 months.Nevertheless, I have peace of mind having placed these redundantly by dishwasher, fridge, and washing machine.

The product itself is not that loud as other I bought. If you put that in the basement you hardly can hear it. This product is only last about 3 year since can not change the battery which is kind of suck. Another issue were since there is not on and off switch for this device, which mean this device is always on, which mean if the product were left 2year still in the warehouse I wonder the battery can still last 3 year when I purchase? I had another problem with the delivery guy which just left the package at outside the door and actually sign by himself and not by anyone that were in the house .
