We recently moved our apartment around and needed to rip off this protector from our kitchenette setup off the floor. Left no residue! It was way to cut to size and move around as needed. Easy install and worked great to keep my cords in place.Like I said we moved things around, I needed less of the cover and was able to cut and reapply to the new location. I do not know if it will be durable enough for a third move and reinstall, but for the twice I did it, no issues. Sticks to the floor perfectly well on the second location.Our robovac goes right over it for cleaning. We had it in place for 2 years before moving it and now it’s been in new place for about 6 months. No lifting, so I would say durability is pretty great.

Got this for church, as some cables were “trip worthyâ€! So now all cables are in the strip and stuck to the floor. Nice n neat! Safe now.

I recently purchased the Floor Cord Cover X-Protector, and I have to say I’m quite pleased with it! I placed heavy books on the ends for the first couple of days to help it flatten out, which worked like a charm. After that initial adjustment period, it sat nicely on the floor.Since I am using this on carpet, I chose not to use the adhesive strips, but it stays in place well enough without them. It effectively covers my power cable, eliminating the tripping hazard that had been bothering me for a while.One thing I’ve noticed is that the silicone material tends to attract dust, but thankfully, it’s easy to wipe clean, so that’s not a huge issue.Overall, this cord cover does a fantastic job fulfilling its purpose, and I feel much safer in my space now. I would give it a solid four stars and recommend it to anyone looking to tidy up their cables and reduce tripping hazards!

I use a iPad for Facetime with family and friends. The iPad is mounted on a gooseneck stand in the center of the room next to my recliner and there is no power plug available there so I had to devise a method to route power to it using a long extension cord feeding a USB power cube. I obtained this cord protector to allow the extension cord to safely pass between my computer desk and my recliner location. The flooring is hardwood laminate, and I was concerned at first about the effects of the adhesion on the flooring as I live in a rented apartment and did not want to damage the floor. Testing the adhesion found that the protector could be easily removed from the floor with no ill effects but stays put securely while in use. The channel for the cable(s) is large enough to run a regular size extension cord and a USB charging cable inside with no bulging, etc. The black color blends well with the dark wood pattern on the flooring.All in all, I am well satisfied with this product and recommend it.

I got this to cover a bunch of cables and cords near my computer. This protector is larger than many (width wise) and I needed to cover 2 large power cords in addition to 3 other smaller cables. This protector was large enough to accommodate all my cables. However, the protector is being used on a wood floor, so I did not want to use the adhesive to glue it to my floor. Unfortunately, after a few months, I realize the backing that covered the adhesive had shifted, and the protector glued itself to my floor in a few spots. It was a bit of a job cleaning up the mess. Fortunately, it came up off the floor reasonably easily and I was also able to remove all of the remaining adhesive from the protector so this problem would not repeat itself. So, while the protector is doing it’s job protecting my cords, I wish there was a version of this without the adhesive, which I had to remove myself. If you’re not planning on using the adhesive on this product, I cannot recommend this product as you may end up getting the adhesive on things as I did.

Very flexible. Arrives coiled up in package and rolls out smooth with no lumps. Cords are easily secured inside the cover. My roomba goes across the cover with zero issues. I didn't have to cut mine but it would be easy to cut to fit with a pair of sturdy scissors. Does exactly what i need to hide extension cords for a christmas tree that is out in the open in a rotunda.

This cord protector was exactly as advertised. The color (gray) was a great match to our room, it was easy to install and the adhesive strips work great on our vinyl flooring. It's also very easy to trim to the size you want. The price is great and really fast shipping. Thanks!

I needed to get some speaker wire across a doorway for a rear surround speaker. Didn’t want to route it around the doorway as this would have been unsightly and added a lot of wire length. This was the lowest-profile cover I could find, but the channel is plenty big enough for even the heaviest speaker wire (I’m using 14 AWG). It was easy to cut cleanly, and the adhesive is strong — it’s sticking very well to my parquet wood floor with no raised corners or edges for people to trip over. It’s quite a dark brown and so it doesn’t quite blend in with my floor colour, but that’s not a problem since it’s at the threshold off the room and no one has even noticed it’s there.
