These work great with real flower arrangements. They hold water very well, you have to soak them first so the water keeps plants and flowers alive in floral arrangements. They can also be used to hold and keep artificial plants and flowers in place. Very easy to cut and adjust size to any kind of container.

I purchased a faux olive tree and to make it fit into larger pot these are exactly what was needed. I used these to raise it up higher and secure it in place then used a fake green grass to cover it. Changed the whole look and I am so happy
