There is no way you are going to find 2.5" tailpipes that even come close to fitting a 1966 Belvedere 2 online. Granted, Amazon said these wouldn't fit a Belvedere 2, but they would fit a Belvedere. I saw a review that said the pipes needed to be cut and welded to fit this car because they hit the gas tank. I figured I was in the ballpark. I tried to install them as they came, and then realized a 15° increase in the last bend before the long pipe out might work. The local muffler shop increased the bend and they fit perfectly. I should probably give it a 5 star- I knew what I was getting into. These tails at a custom shop would have cost a fortune to make. Maybe someone will see this and will benefit from my experience. Hot rodding isn't easy- if it was everyone would be cool like me! :P :)

I had The muffler shop install them. They had no problems fitting them to my 1973 Road Runner.

I bought these for my 73 Dodge Charger even after i had numerous people tell me they didn't fit.. I took the exhaust shop and they fit almost perfect.. we had to make on minor trim, but other than that they are fantastic... I absolutely love them and glad it took my exhaust out from under the car...

Fits perfectly on a 1972 Dodge Charger, highly recommended if your doing your exhaust system on your 72 charger then definitely get these tail pipes! They line up really well!- I also just wanted to note that if your doing the exhaust on your 72 charger, keep in mind that the pipe will bend in from the motor then back out and isn’t straight back exhaust like a 68 chevelle!

Excellent product. Excellent fit. No need to modify at all. Had to replace tail pipes as they had rusted out. Installed on 68 Dodge Charger.
