Not nearly as loud as I thought/ hoped it would be. Has a nice growl to it if you are behind the truck and someone else hits the gas for you, but in cab noise is very minimal. The clamp/ hanger supplied with the kit that is supposed to support the rear of the muffler did not line up at all on my truck. I had to cut 3" out of the rod welded to the supplied clamp/ hanger to shorten it up enough to line up correctly with the factory rubber isolator. The rod started out 3" above the hole in the isolator it was supposed to go into. Also, plan on welding it all together. I tightened all my clamps as tight as I dared with an impact gun and by the time I got back from a 15 minute test drive the tailpipe was pointed at the ground and could be easily moved by hand. Overall I am happy with the kit but wish that better quality clamps had been included. Personally I think it is a bit overpriced and should be selling for around $250

Installed on my 2000 GMC 2500 6.0 liter. Had to modify a few things because the exhaust was replaced at one point it another. Has a deep tone, highly recommend.

The fit and quality of the system is great. Installation was fairly smooth. Directions are based off of replacing the stock exhaust. If your exhaust has already been modified you have to disregard the measurements on the instructions and figure out where to cut the factory pipes on your own.I have an 8.1l and the sound is nice. It is a great deal louder than the stock exhaust, but not to an annoying level.

So far, so good. Quick and easy install, about an hour. Still tightening clamps, really need to replace the with a sturdier clamp, had the tailpipe come loose. Great sound, better performance and added 2 mpg per gallon. Time will tell how long it will last, some previous comments claimed the baffles would come loose or had issues with alignment.

Gave it a 5 star because it did more than expected. Improved sound of course but also improved tranny performance.Yes I would recommend this item
