The internal substrate material and precious metal loading have been carefully engineered for maximum efficiency and to avoid MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) code issues that are common with lower quality converters. Universal catalytic converters require welding and/or fabrication and should be installed by qualified technicians. Replaced the old one on my 93 z71 with this one. Perfect size with a hear shield and fast shipping. Unsure if it will clean up my emissions just yet but have a feeling I won't have any problems. With this and a single glass pack my truck has a decent rumble with out the raspy annoying redneck tone to it.

Perfect for my 1990 Chevy 454 SS, which was purchased with no cat. Easy to install, fit nicely in stock location, and sounds like it's still making good power when paired with a 70 series Flowmaster muffler.

Great replacement for the old "Pancake" cat in the older GM C / K series trucks.Bit of a "wake-up" for an old V8 when paired with a free-flowing exhaust and a good air intake.

I drive a 1992 Chevy Van. I couldn't,t get it to pass emissions. Finally replaced the Cat and never had a better result during testing. Good for another two years

Ai mis sur un Ford F53 1999. J'ai coupé l'ancien avec une meule à main et ai installé celui-ci en quelques minutes avec deux collets. J'ai roulé 7000km depuis. Pas de perte de puissance détectée. I have put it on my motorhome Ford F53 1999. Installed in a few minutes with two brackets. No lost of power and I did 7000km about 5000 miles. Mon moteur est un Ford Triton V10 6.8L.
