Works well in place of factory muffler. Combined with a K&N FIPK sounds great. Needed three 2.5†exhaust clamps and a Walker 53539 2.5†diameter extension (cut 12.5†to 13†off of it). Once installed, lacks a center exhaust hanger vs factory, bust seems stable enough. May need to visit muffler shop to have them fabricate one to keep system stable. Also installed an “Autosaver88†2-2.5 black exhaust tip to finish it off. With a set of ramp, took 1 hour to install. Need channellocks (for rubber hanger), 14 mm socket for clamps, recip saw to cut old system out and trim extension, bastard file to clean sharp edges. That’s it.

Loved it. Installed on my 2005 4runner V8. Love the low rumbling. Not too loud when driving on highway. Needs to be welded.

This is a good muffler, I put it on my 2005 Dodge neon SXT. Amazon says it wont fit on my car but the shop I took it to adapted it for an extra $10 which was worth it. It has a nice low rumble that I was looking for but its not so loud that it drives people crazy and draws a bunch of unwanted attention. Inside the car you can barely hear it, at least in my car, until you rev the engine really high. Overall I'd say if you want a nice low sound to your car with out it sounding like a loud annoying fart can, this is the way to go.

Youtube does not do this muffler justice. I am very pleased with this purchase. $80 bucks and free two day shipping! This little bad boy is loud! I have a Ram 1500 4x4 Magnum but I am positive everyone who hears my truck thinks its a hemi. My Harley is just barely a little louder than this. Idling is not overly noisy but when you step on it you and everyone else knows it. I bought this to go with a K&N filter and Airaid throttle body spacer. I am seeing a savings in gas and my truck runs like a champ.

I was looking for a Great replacement for my muffler that basically fell apart. It had a nice growl/rumble that I didn't want to lose. This muffler has that same growl/rumble that I needed. The tone let's people know you have power..without being the neighborhood jerk!! The muffler shipped fast, installed Very easy on my 2003 Ram! It did come painted but was missing paint in a few areas but no Big deal I coated it with 2000 deg VHT Flameproof anyway!I couldn't be happier and highly recommend

Installed on a 5.9 magnum platform. Definitely an upgrade from stock as it adds a low rumble, not as loud as I would have hoped when I WOT, but am currently still running with a cat. Might be louder after a cat delete.
