I got a flute as a gift a couple years ago but it didnt come with any of the cleaning supplies. I havent been playing it because i like to clean it after i play it so now i have this kit. It has everything needed to clean my flute. Now i have no excuse to play except my little dog hates it lol. nice kit for a good price.

While this seems like the perfect kit for cleaning flutes, there are certain items in it that are unnecessary and may be even harmful to a flute. For instance, cork grease is only for instruments with corks such as bassoons and clarinets. It can also make the parts sticky and can damage the polish. The mouthpiece brush might actually scratch the inside of the head joint. Although the cleaning brush can be easier to use, it isn’t necessary either because there’s already a cleaning rod and cloth which are more commonly used. Price would be reasonable if there were more of the useful items rather than the addition of superfluous ones. Otherwise, just stick with the basics and save your money. This is the perfect example of less is more.

The kit is easier to to use than it is to get our flutist to actually use it. I do see a pattern... ;)For an all in one kit this does the job and will help keep a flute clean for many cleanings.If youre not a beginner, you probably arent looking for a kit like this. But if you are, this should help you too.

I'm not sure what the other reviewer was referring to about AI generated product images? Product description is bang on accurate for what I received with this order.I think for the price this is a great kit for at-home flute maintenance in between professional servicing. Zero complaints.

This contained a Mouthpiece Brush (Not used for Flutes) and it also contained a swab (might be better for piccolo than flute). Other than that it had key oil (not even sure that is used for flutes, and I'd caution against using it yourself. Ask a Tech first), as well as a sort of body swab brush, and the standard cloth and rod.The items work, I just think the vendor should have done more research on what items are actually needed/used on flutes.

This cleaning kit is all you need to take care of a flute. There are 2 different cleaning cloths to choose between, as well as the cleaning brush. The key oil and cork grease keep your flute in good working condition when used properly. My daughter is excited to have the full kit of her own rather than having to borrow supplies from her band teacher.
