Matches the description, the cloths and wands work effectively. The wands are made of plastic, but seem durable.

These cloths not only work on flutes.

The cloths are great and absorbent. Rods are a bit thick and don’t fit in the case depression. Need to care separately.

This is a great set for your forgetful kiddo who keeps losing cleaning rods and cloths. It is a nice basic set but comes with lots of cloths and two decent rods. The fit nicely in the case and get the job done.

I like these. I use them to swab out recorders and tin whistles after I play. I rinse the flute and then swab it. The micro fiber cleaning pads can be rinsed and they are dry and ready for use the next time. Very convenient. I recommend. Good price. PW

Cloths provided are a little small to provide adequate swabbage.

I needed a cleaning set for my Tenor Recorder (I can play flute, but I don't have one on me right now), and since the Tenor Recorder plays in the same tessitura as the flute, I thought, "why not"?Before you ask, "what use is this review?" Well, the principle of cleaning is the same on Flute or Tenor Recorder, you need to get moisture out of the inside so it won't rot (if wooden) or corrode (if metal) and it helps the instrument last longer. Not to mention, prevents any stenches from developing in the instrument. The way Recorder and Flute does it is by taking a cloth, and then pushing it through the instrument, using the rod. For those that don't know, Recorder cleaning rods and flute cleaning rods are similar, and for Tenor Recorder, they are pretty much the same size, hence you can use Flute Cleaning materials to clean out a Tenor Recorder.I don't normally recommend off-brands for things related to musical instruments, but for cleaning materials, as long as it does the job it needs to, which in this case, remove moisture, then it works fine.Highly Recommend!

Though the texture is nice, the cloth actually got stuck in the flute and we had to buy extra tools to try and pry it out. We were afraid we ruined the flute and needed a new one, but after some elbow grease, was able to pull the thing out. I recommend cutting these cloths in half at the very least to try to use.
