How to use:

I ordered these to replace bath mats, which we find uncomfortable to stand on. They also seem to get moldy even when they're supposedly treated to prevent mold and mildew. It takes a lot of scrubbing and degreasing to prep an old tub for this kind of sticker, but they're likely to peel off quickly otherwise. The texture isn't as grippy as expected, but that makes these more comfortable than the old style ones that look like sandpaper. They might not be heavily textured enough to prevent falls for those of us who need to use a shower chair and grab bars, but they're fine for the less accident-prone.

These circular grip stickers have to be applied into a clean and dry surface, and you can’t run water for minimum 24 hours before they will set. So, if you don’t follow one of these steps, the stickers come off. Now, I don’t know whether I failed in one of these steps or if they just aren’t that resistant to water, but some of them came off. Where there was left foot traffic, those did not come off. Your mileage may vary depending on how well you install them. The other issue with these is they are rather small and the texture is subtle. I was expecting the texture to be more pronounced for my elderly parent. My dad wasn’t comfortable with such little texture, especially when used in a shower where there is a constant stream of water. I think that alone is a big hurdle to over come with this product.
