I bought this rug along with the matching circular rug for my office. At first I wasn’t impressed as it showed up vacuum sealed and did not look to be too well made. Like others have suggested, putting it in the dryer on steam mode removed the creases and made it ,look great! I was surprised that the lint trap did not have anything in it. They are soft and the backing keeps it from sliding around or lifting up.For the price, these are hard to beat.

I don’t know why the previous reviews are so critical. For the price point I don’t know how you could expect a luxurious living room centerpiece rug. I bought this so that my dog has something to play with his toys and treats on. Due to the slippers resistant backing, this rug is perfect. Yes it may not be very thick, however, the quality is there. It is so very easy to clean. It fits in the washing machine very easily. Comes out almost dry. I let it air dry for about an hour, and it’s back on the floor again. It arrived with the ability to lay flat and after several washings, it’s still flat. The only thing they could possibly improve this rug would be that the edging material match the color of the rug. And this case the color of the rug I purchased was dark gray, and the edging is a little bit light gray. That is my only criticism that my dog loves it and it cushioning for him to play on.

So, you know those people who're like "omg! the rug was packaged poorly, it's all wrinkled and warped, it's USELESS TO ME LIKE THIS OMG!!"Yeah, don't listen to them. Back when I lived in Japan, I got a much thicker foam rug in the mail and yes... IT HAD CREASES. Why? Cuz they have to fold it up to send it through the mail. xDBut it's an easy fix. Either lay it face down and let it unfold that way, or steam it.For my rug, my rug was small enough I could toss it in the dryer and put on the steam mode and all of the wrinkles were gone. If your rug is big, you can likely iron it, just be careful.It has a plushness to it, but it is on the thin side. Straight out of the box, it won't feel like foam at all because it's been compacted down. So, steaming or letting it unfurl and settle upside down for a while will help its volume perk back up. Just know that it is thin. It's more cushioned than a traditional rug, but it's not got the volume of a Japanese styled memory foam rug.Anyway, my 8 month old puppy - whom I adopted last month - has graduated from his puppy pad and started to use his puppy pad as a rug. So, I got this as a gift to him for "graduating from the puppy pad" and he loves it. He likes to lay on it and chomp on his antlers or squeaky ball. He also likes to nap on it. When I had it downstairs briefly, he hopped off the couch to lay on it.I got him a yellow one (which is perfect, true to colour) and the dark blue one (which is true to colour except the trimming around the edges are much lighter than the pictures). He decided he liked the yellow one. He won't use the the blue one at all. So, I'll be returning the blue one and getting a second yellow one for him (one is for upstairs and one is for downstairs).Also, when I sat on it for some cuddle time, I noticed just how soft it was. It's soooo nice. And though it's thin, it's comfortable enough for me to sit on the hardwood floor with him for cuddle time.PUPPY APPROVED!

I was looking for a floor covering for the hardwood floors in my cabin where my dogs could play and relax. This is exactly what I wanted. I would describe this as a thick mat with a low pile carpet on top. It came vacuum sealed and had many fold lines. Following directions, I dampened it lightly and threw it in a dryer. The fold lines flattened out perfectly. It does not shift and is comfortable under your feet. My only complaint would be the price. It was a bit expensive.

I read the reviews and it was a mixed bag. However, a lot of the negative reviews were about the creases the rug comes with. As someone who has bought rugs online before I knew what to expect. Also, this rug comes with instructions of how to get the creases out. So I’m not saying the people who had creases encountered “operator error†but ya know, it’s pretty easy to get them out.This rug is also WAY softer than I expected! Wow! It is so nice! Great quality for the price!

Looks nice and made well but it’s an absolute pain to keep clean! It takes at least 4 to 5 passes with the vacuum to get it looking good. They say you can put it in your washer but you Better have one large heavy duty washer if you plan on doing that!

The rug is soft but it’s all stretched out in certain spots so it will not lay flat at all. It’s almost wavy in the middle.

Keep in mind other rugs with similar size cost twice as much or more.I bought this to be a cheap and quick solution and it’s just that. I honestly don’t love a lot of rug styles out there & was discouraged with ugly prints & high prices. I just need something to protect our new flooring, while giving my dogs a place to lay.I liked many of the color options but went with dark green. Ppl didn’t like the cheap looking trim & I can see why but after a few days I don’t even notice it. It’s not that bad.I was nervous bc it took 3/4 days to reshape. Until then I hated it. I’m only left with one wave that seems like extra fabric & won’t lay flat. The rectangular shape was very wavy around the perimeter at first, but it also straightened out after a few days.My animals love it. It’s easy to vacuum, even the muddy prints my dogs bring in & their chew bones gross little slobber spots both vacuum right up. I will try washing it before my 30 days are up to make sure it holds up & I will review that soon.Overall if you are on a budget, think most rug prints are ugly or just looking for a quick fix I would give it a try. When you find something higher end this would be a great rug for a play room or cold basement floor to just have when needed.

Great rug for the price tag, only fault is that the colour of the fabric they used to finish the edge of the mat is lighter than it appears in the pictures. Not a big deal though, still happy with the product, might get another one for the bathroom since you can wash them.

Your picture of this item and description is not correct. You said it is a rug it is not, it's more like a big floor matt. The packaging is not what I expected. It it was a rug it would have been roll up instead of vacuumed pack. After reading your Instruction I don't have a washer or a dryer large enough to fit this matt. I will return and your review will be 1 star.
