I use this for protecting my climbing anchor rigging when setting up top ropes. Sometimes the anchor rigging needs to drape over rock edges, so this sleeve adds an extra level of protection, without being too heavy or bulky. Inexpensive and works well.

This is great for protecting your rope. Whether you use it on your winch or to protect your rope going around a tree this works well. You slip your rope through the opening and cut off enough for what you are doing. The sleeve keeps your rope from rubbing and protects it from damage. So far, it has work on my tree swing, keeping my rope from fraying. I took off a star because while is does it’s job well, it would be better if it were a little thicker.
