I give this a 4 on durability due to fading. Not complaining that it’s faded but as long as you know that before you buy. My jeep stays parked outside so that’s to be expected. Cover did fade but has not ripped and has held up to several power washes and around 10-15 miles on the highway. My winch is about a year old and have had this on all but about a week or two of its life and this cover keeps my winch looking brand new. Can’t go wrong buying this for a steel cable winch to keep it from rusting and a synthetic cable to protect from sun and rain. Fits perfect on Badlands 12K lb winch. Faded but doing what it’s suppose to. Overall very much pleased with this cover. **UPDATE** As if March 2021 this winch cover finally started to rip. In my opinion for the price you absolutely cannot beat that due to how new my winch looks still. It ripped trying to stretch it back on towards the bottom so it’s still good if I wanted to keep using it. It faded out quickly but that’s no big deal my Jeep stays in the weather year round so it’s to be expected.

I have the smittybuilt XRC GEN 3 winch and it fits perfectly. Tight when putting it on, but I have reached 80’s on the highway and no problems with it. Cover doesn't move, and it is lined in the interior so it is UV resistant. It wears out somewhat quickly in the sun, although it does a pretty good job of holding up. Expect about a year to a year and a half of use before it gets too sun damaged. While this may seem bad, it beats any other winch cover as the price is very good. The elastic band that stretches around the winch holds up well too. A must buy if you have synthetic rope (it will prolong the life). Also keeps the winch very clean and keeps the dust and water out. It is water resistant to a point, doesn’t completely repel but drops don't sink through instantly.

I just installed a new bumper and winch on my Jeep and even though the winch is waterproof I still wanted to protect it from rain and more importantly, direct exposure of the synthetic winch cable to the sun. The material seems durable but we'll have to see how the color holds up. My only complaint is that even though my winch is within the maximum size listed for the cover, getting it on was a bear. The fit is VERY tight. I'm not sure if it'll loosen up over time a bit or not but it's a bit of a hassle to deal with. On the other hand, it probably won't fly off so that's good!

Fit great stayed in place at 80 for a hour at leasteasy put on and take off very durable bought two one for my Jeep !! And my ram 2500 to replace old one that I had for a year or two the only issue was fading by sun but everything around were I live fades vinyl siding cars and uncovered winches , cables etc my two winches are badlands from harbor frieght!!!! If I can get a year out of it win in the elements every day I’m happy my Jeep is parked under roof so it should last a lot longer !!!!

Warning. This is extremely thin material, almost like a wind breaker jacket. It was a tight fit for my Warm 8500 winch. Elastic seemed good. I was expecting something thicker, because the others I have purchased on Amazon were better in my opinion.

Great cover for less than $10 bucks. Didn’t think I would like it, but hey it was less than ten bucks. Was surprised once I received it. Effective for it’s purpose of protecting from the elements. Easy to put on, right fit to keep from blowing off. Ended up buying a second one for my sons Jeep. You can’t go wrong with this price, but don’t expect a super heavy duty cover. Have had on several months now with no issues. Well spent money.

Very good Winch cover bag! It’s sturdy and not cheap. The material is hefty and doesn’t seem to have the potential to rip. The bungy is tight and sturdy as well to keep the cover from flying off while driving. It’s big enough to cover any winch and then some. The winch cover is baggy so if your looking for an exact fit, then you should get your winch cover from the supplier that made your winch. However, as a general cover this works perfect for me! I give it a 5 star.

le quedo muy bien a mi winch smittybilt 9500 lb con cable sintetico el forro es contra agua y su interior es aluminizado , su resorte sirve para si lodejas puesto al pasear no salga bolando. la duracion bajo el sol y llubia no sabria decir pero si dura 5 meses por su precio bien bale la pena remplasarlo cada que se arruine

I use this on my 9500 Smittybilt, fits perfectly and doesn't blow off. A lot tougher than I thought it would be. I'd recommend it.
