I can only review the ignition coil and not the entire stator assembly. The ignition coil works perfectly on the QT50 with some modifications.The ignition coil was shot on my 1984 Yamaha QT50. After a ton of research, I purchased this item for an ignition coil swap. I un-soldered the ignition coil off this stator, flipped it and re-soldered it on my original stator. Make sure you install it the way you took the ignition coil off the QT50 stator and NOT the way you took it off this stator. There is a great YouTube video showing how this is done.

Yamaha 1980 qt50 I used this to swap the charge coil and so far it has spark now and is running… i need to clean the carb and run it to see if the coil will last. Thumbs up so far

Very low quality. The tab from the charge coil fell off when installing. Looks like it wasn't soldered correctly at factory. Waste of $20.

Two-strokes can rotate backwards if mistimed from the stator. It appears this product is wired incorrectly and it is making my bike start backwards!

I had zero spark now i have spark and it runs at idle anything above i loose spark. I have tried replacing cdi since and also bypassed start position on switch
