I take this daily into the 10k acres of redwood forest across the street. It's nearly weightless, and easily fits in my backpack. It's been comfortable to sit on everywhere I've used it, including sitting on lumpy rocks, cold concrete, grass, and tree stumps. It keeps me dry when I sit after a rain. It doesn't soak. When the bottom gets wet, I can easily shake it almost completely dry, and it goes back in my backpack without getting other things wet. The insulation must have a high R value because it feels warm the moment I sit on it, even when it's cold outside. I really like that.Didn't expect much from something this cheap, but I'm using it daily and I'm really happy with it.

I bought this pad to take on hikes. It’s very lightweight and compact. The pad keeps you dry and softens your seat, even on textured surfaces. It dries quickly and easily stores away.

I’ve never hiked with a sit pad before but this was great. Super lightweight, it easily fit in the side of my pack.It was a bit rainy on my recent two night backpacking trip and this came in very handy. I used it as a quick, warm & dry seat on rest breaks. You can sit it on a log or rock for increased comfort.At night I used it as an entry pad to help keep dirt from coming into and out of my tent. It was also nice not to have to kneel on damp ground as I got things in and out of the tent.Would definitely carry again on future trips.

This is exactly what I figured I would get for the price. It isn't super cushioned, or anything special. It does make sitting on hard and uncomfortable surfaces more bearable though. It has held up through a few uses, and isn't showing signs of wear. It's light, and folds up small.

I purchased this for a Renn Faire so I could sit down and not ruin my dress. It worked perfectly. It was really compact and lightweight. I had it tucked into my belt and was easy to pull out and use when needed and just as easy to put away.

I recently went on a 2200 mile bike tour and this sit pad was my favorite luxury item. Great for roadside stops and for adding comfort to my sleep system. It also fit in my hydration backpack and provided extra comfort as it sat right next to my back.

Took this with me on a 5 day back country trip. Was great! Awesome for sitting on logs around campfires where everything tends to be damp. Was great at keeping my but dry and insulated from whatever I was sitting on.We brought a ultralight camping chair and didn't use it once. This was way more convenient and multi purpose.
