At first I wasn't sure how I felt about ordering a $50 step stool, but I'm glad I took a chance on this one!It really does fold up nicely, though not flat. That's because the feet on this are more substantial and stable than your run of the mill folding step.It's very sturdy once it's expand and it's big enough that i can easily stand on it with both feet on the same step.It's easy to store away under a bed, in a closet, etc and very easy to unfold. The height gets me up to the top shelf with no problems and makes cleaning our ceiling lights a whole lot easier.I would absolutely recommend this and after having it in my house for a few days I have zero complaints about the price tag!

The stool steps are solid and sturdy, and it will hold up to 300 pounds. A few cautionary notes – don’t stand on the edges of the top step and there’s an amputation !! warning on the box, that children could get their fingers caught in the collapsible parts.Getting the stool to collapse for storage is very simple – just slightly press the each of the two side hinges on each side of the stool toward the center and fold the top step backward. As the picture shows, the collapsed stool stores in a space just 6 inches wide. Transforms from a fully operational stool to its storage state in a matter of seconds.Price is on the costly side, but if a discount is offered, this is a nice sturdy, foldable stool for use around the house.

This stool has a very narrow first step which means one has to pay particular attention to footing as either your toes or heel or both extend past the step. On the top step, one has to avoid each end to keep from tipping over. That leaves a pretty restricted area for your feet. (If the step were wider, that might not be such an issue because there would be more safe area for your feet.) Generally, I'm not feeling too confident when I am on this.

This is just the right size between a step stool and a ladder. Gives great height for a vertically challenged person as myself. With this I can easily reach the cabinets above my fridge without having to get a ladder. Very sturdy. Folds and unfolds easily. Safety latch to lock into place. Although it’s plastic. It’s hard plastic that is strong.

This step stool was sort easy to install. There really wasn't much to install it's already put together you just unfold it. It's very sturdy that I even felt confident to let my toddler use it. It's at a nice height, even when standing on the bottom step. It folds up nice and neat to keep it out of the way when not in use. I love it and am very happy with this purchase.
