Folding Clothes Drying Rack, Super Heavy Duty Aluminum Alloy Over The Door Hanger with Retractable Rod, Foldable Portable and Collapsible Bathroom Accessories Towel Rack Organization, Ivory WhiteGreat idea, some issues with the execution to protect the doors it might be installed on – either painted or stain finished. Had this been engineered wth the understanding that door width very and to PROTECT the doors at home or when traveling, I would have given it a 5-star.Doors in the US are generally 1.35 inches wide on average. The top hardware piece is 2-inches wide. An adjustable mechanism would be handy but one can make due as shown below. That leaves .65 inches of slop space for this to rattle around and scratch the door and not hold it in place to enable the door to close (which it does when it’s all nice and snug). The plastic clip on the horizontal pull-out portion doesn’t really clip into the housing very securely. When moving it around it continuously slid out. The arm that pulls out of the horizontal portion is a bit too thin for my liking. One should be careful how much weight is on the extended arm portion. This is an issue making the installation and use rather flimsy on the top and only the one adjustable screw/contact point on the bottom.1. Stick-on rubber protective material on the top rail to protect the top of the door2. Stick-on felt feet (1-inch) normally used for floor protection, provide a bit of a spring action leaving it tight when installed3. Stick-on rubber protective material on the hook facing the door to protect the front of the door.4. Stick-on felt pad dot (1/2-inch) often used for protecting furniture. If the pin on the bottom #4 leaves any kind of indentation, additional felt can be added to the verticle bar for more support but it would take 3 more of the felt feet to take up the space or some other material along the vertical. Rectangular material would look better. The screw that extends on the protected foot (shown in picture #1, arrow #4, is extended to its last thread to make the horizontal arm level. Without boring everyone with screw and plastic part widths, if the threaded rod was 1 inch long it would fit into the plastic part and then take up all the slack from the average US door. Adding more felt pads can help or just find a “foot” of the same thread. All this redesign work should have been done by the maker of the product.

This over the door clothes rack is perfect in the utility room to hang shirts and dresses straight out of the dryer or hang to air dry. Also, to hang clothes up as you iron them.

There wasn’t a measurement provided for the hanger itself, so I was sad to realize it was nearly double the width of a standard interior door. Makes it too wobbly to be used effectively

Product is decent quality. I purchased the White / Ivory and the color is neither. It is a light yellow.

I was looking for something to hang drip dry clothing on hangers from in our motorhome. This expands if I need more space, hangs from the crown molding around the top of the bedroom slideout easily. Finally solved my problem for an out of the way hanger for this kind of use.
