Amazing & SharpThis saw is so sharp and seems very well made. It arrived today and I was quick to get out and trim some tree limbs in preparation for spring. The mechanism seems solid, and the wood handle is nice and heavy duty without being hard to handle. Saw is super sharp and cut like a warm knife in butter. The leather sheath is a great bonus to store the saw when not in use. Great product.

Did a couple test cuts with this in with some 2-3 inch branches. Seemed ok. The real test will be in a week or so when I actually take it camping. In all fairness my last saw was a silky, I just can't seem to find it at the moment. lol So I took a chance and purchased this. First impressions? Sheath seems solid. I love the handle. It seemed a little odd that the teeth are directly in line and not angled out slightly to make a wider kerf so we shall see how that affects the cutting ability. If it shines while camping, I'll edit this. If it doesn't I'll edit this. (I've never done an edit so that will also depend on if I can figure out how. lol) As previously mentioned, my latest saw was a silky gomboy curve, the one prior to that was a bahco laplander. This saw has some big shoes to fill.Edit: Cuts decently, however I discovered not all locking mechanisms are created equal. While using the spine of the saw (nicely sharp btw) to nip off super small branch starts off a sapling I had to clear (something I've done hundreds of times with the silky and bahco) the saw closed on my finger. Nothing terrible but it bled plenty. Lesson learned. (Also a lesson to be taught about always taking a medical kit, even for short trips) Having used it in the wild, it'll stay in my kit for light duty stuff. Probably just ride around in the side by side for those "Oh crap, I forgot my saw" moments. For what it costs, it's a saw. Not great. Not bad. Just beware the lock if you do "shady" stuff on occasion. lol

I haven’t used it much yet, but it feels good in the hand and cuts clean and quickly! It is heavier than I expected, but that is a good thing. There is no flex in the handle, and the build quality seems spot on.This should be a solid investment for a homeowner doing clean up work on trees and shrubs around the yard!

I highly recommend acquiring a folding saw; its utility is unparalleled. The portability, lightweight construction, and efficient functionality make it an invaluable asset for any individual. In the field, it substantially reduces dependence on an axe, increasing wood-cutting efficiency by approximately twenty times. Beyond firewood preparation, its versatility extends to a wide range of bushcraft applications. Moreover, my experience with various garden clearing tools, including electric options, confirms its superior performance in removing woody weeds and unwanted vegetation. This particular saw provides an ideal size. Recommend!

I needed a saw like this to carry during deer season. I liked the wood handle and leather sheath. When I got it and unfolded the blade it was very loose at the hinge. The blade seems sharp and I’m sure it will cut, but seems to be poorly assembled. It wasn’t very expensive, so I guess you get what you pay for

#1... LOVE the size... perfect for carrying with you in the included sheath! I have a larger folding saw that is great for bigger limbs and pruning chores but this one is just the right size to keep on you. I would say the size is pretty much the same as a fixed blade hunting knife or so. #2... SUPER SHARP - I mean, be careful - it's that sharp. Hopefully the edge and sharpness will be lasting and tough, but I just stroked it a couple of times in a little pine limb in my yard and it went nearly half through the limb in just a couple of easy strokes! #3... Wooden handle. I just prefer wood to the plastic handled saws you see so often. This one is really wood and has grain and texture that just feels good in your hands - and looks good to boot! #4....the sheath. I really like that it came with a sheath, but this is not leather. But the good news is you can make your own out of real leather by using this one as a pattern if you want... or just use it like it is - as this one should be very durable and is perfect for this saw. Overall, even with a synthetic sheath, it's a win!

I like this saw a lot. The grip is nice and easy on the hands causing no hot spots. The sheath is very durable. Just about the right size for bushcraft needs. Cuts fast and clean. The only complaint is that it cuts a little crooked.
