Very sturdy, and nicely compact when folded. Would purchase another without hesitation, should the need arise.

If you need a little help reaching something or in my case getting into my truck, this stool is the right tool to meet your needs. I have hip joint damage that has made it painful for me to get into my truck. This stool was the perfect answer without spending a fortune adding running boards. It's amazingly sturdy, folds out and folds up in a flash and takes up very little space. It's a THREE THUMBS UP !

This step stool is made of quality material that supports up to 700 pounds. There is no assembly required, take it out of the box and unfold it. When done using, just fold it up for saving space during storage.

I bought the Folding Step, Plastic, 700 lb. capacity, and it broke so fast. The plastic feels cheap, and it wobbles even with light use. I don't trust it to hold anywhere near the weight it claims. Definitely not worth the money.

This is very sturdy and the dots make it look kinda cute. I recommend it.

Anyone buying the Big John folding step should be aware that the advertised weight limit of 700lbs DOES NOT agree with the weight limit that is stamped on the legs of step stool itself. The stamp on the stool says "max 150kg" (150kg = about 330lbs). I suspect the 700lb advertised rating is for a static load and the 330lb rating is for a dynamic load, in which case you'd want to avoid jumping on the stool if you're over 330lbs. The problem is, there is no mention of this issue that I can find on either the Amazon or Big John Products website. Given that this is marketed as a bariatric step stool, an accurately explained weight rating is going to matter to many of the people who purchase this stool. With that said, in use, the stool appears to be well made and very sturdy. It feels extremely secure under foot. However, given that I weigh just under 200lbs, I'm not coming close to pushing its limits. Overall, I liked this stool very much and would have given it 5 stars if the weight rating discrepancy had been clarified by Big John Products.
