Child’s violin teacher uses butterfly finger puppets on the end of the bow to practice bow movements. We wanted one for home practice. This is perfect. The monarch wings flap gently. Very sweet.

The picture appeared pink, but my puppet arrived orange like a typical monarch butterfly. Good quality and will be enjoyed by the young children I work with.

Great for going on butterfly walks with toddlers, giving butterfly kisses to infants, school projects on environment or insects, perfect emergency distraction stuffed away in purse. Love all around. Have one for us and have gifted about 6 others recently. Good value for a cute gift!

I was concerned about the color vs the picture on line. Yes it is Orange and black. The only thing that would improve it would be a thin wire to help the wings spread out. Otherwise it is pretty sturdy and the edges are coated so it wont fray. I used it as an educational tool and it was fun to place on my finger and make it fly up and down .

My wife uses the butterfly as a prop to grab young children's attention in a cradle roll class. Works great for its purpose. Highly recommend.

IF the puppet I received was like the one I bought locally I would rate this "I love it"! The same Folkmanis puppet bought at a local toy store in our touristy area where we have no big retail stores...was true to the color shown in this picture. It was VERY nice. The one I received with this order was very RED in color....WRONG for a Monarch butterfly and just not as delicate looking and pretty. The workmanship was the same excellent quality. If I had not needed it for a gift right away I would have asked to exchange it for the right color. I was disappointed. I wanted to order another to keep...but will check back with the toy store so I can see the color first.

Esta marioneta es realmente preciosa, sus alas están confeccionadas con un tejido fino y semitransparente pero de muchÃsima calidad. Se ve muy bien terminada y realmente simula el movimiento de una mariposa real de forma muy acertada. Perfecta para llamar la atención de un crÃo pequeño, asà como para que el propio niño/a jueguen con ella cuando van siendo mayores. Mi hija está encantada con su mariposa monarca e incluso la ha llevado al colegio para enseñarla a sus compañeros cuando han hablado del inicio de la primavera, su mariposa le ha encantado a todos. Totalmente recomendable, tanto la marioneta en sÃ, como el vendedor, cuya gestión ha sido más que magnÃfica.

...ist handgroß und die Faben sind wie auf dem Bild zu erkennen. Schön finde ich, dass das Bild kein fake ist und die Flügel tatsächlich stehen bleiben, wenn man die Hand nicht bewegt. Der Finger verschwindet im Körper der Puppe und bildet den Rumpf des Schmetterlings. Einzig die Fühler gefallen mir nict besonders, sie bestehen aus einer festeren Kordel die am Ende einen Knoten haben was sie zu schwer werden lässt deshalb ängen die Fühler ziemlich durch. Aber mit etwas Basteldraht kann man es sicher richten. Die Lieferung war schneller als angekündigt.

Very well made. It looks very delicate but has survived 3 weeks of rough handling by the 3 year old.
