This is cute and a little larger than a coffee mug. It does its job well, it has a setting to melt the chocolate, and another setting to keep the melted chocolate warm. It'll take about 10 minutes, it does the job without burning the chocolate!

Really was pleasantly surprised with this product. Heats up and melts chocolate quickly without burning, has a very easy to clean, removable insert (metal with nonstick coating of unknown type if that freaks you out), small foot print so easy to store. If trying to feed more than maybe 3 people fondue, this may be a little small. Didn’t try it for cheese.

The other reviews are accurate in stating that it does not melt. However, if you pre-melt, it works well for keeping chocolate and cheese warm. Additionally, the color is not red at all; it is actually pink. I am very disappointed with the color discrepancy. Nevertheless, I've decided to keep it for the few times I will use it each year.

The pot does not sit onto the heating element so that the chocolate can melt. I waited to long to try it out to find this out, therefore not able to.return it....wasted money...

Worked like a charm! I was very hesitant to buy this due to lack of reviews and the reviews found were not all good....but for the price and I needed a smaller one, I said why not?!Arrived quickly, easy to set up and clean. I used it to make chocolate covered strawberries. Melted 5oz of chocolate chips (half a bag), took a lil longer, about 5 mins or so, then my bigger fondue set. Switched to warm as soon as chocolate was 95% melted, no issues. It kept everything liquidity and smooth. Clean up was easy. The pot does not get hot at the top where you'd hold it. The bottom is hot or warm but cools quickly. I was able to do about half a dozen large strawberries, I'd say it could do a dozen small/average size strawberries.Quick recap: Yes this works great!For small amounts at a time.Easy clean up, easy use, and doesn't get hot in places needed to be touched when done.Overall, you need a small fondue pot? This is it!Hope this helps!

NO Mention of the voltage being 110veither on advert ,box or invoice. NOT SAFE for UK mains use.Purchased as a Xmas gift for my granddaughter.
