A nice addition to my Fontanini nativity. I've wanted these for a long time and I am not disappointed with the quality. I have to agree with another reviewer about the scale of them though. All the birds are roughly the same size. Looks a little strange if you have them grouped together. If you scatter them throughout the nativity scene the differences aren't so glaring. With that said, I would buy them again.

I was disappointed in this set. Fontanini usually is so accurate in their depictions yet things are seriously wrong with this one. The swan is the same size as the chicken as is the turkey. Both should be twice the size. In fact, only the chickens in the set are to scale. So it looks weird when put out with the nativity.

When I saw these, it just seemed obvious that birds would've been present at Jesus' birth. Plus the birds are very well designed.

A friend of mine has moved to a farm. These barnyard birds were the perfect addition to her Nativity paying tribute to that move.
