There was a lot of thoughtful design that went into this. From the reusable packaging, including two of the more commonly needed color, black and dual tipped for different design needs. I haven’t used these yet, but I’m really pleased with what I see so far. I tested every marker, they work well (not dried out). They are indeed, fine tipped on the one side for detail work and a less firm, wider, paint style tip on the other side. The one thing I did note is that the blue isn’t true primary blue like what comes in the Wilton brand, I’ve used. The product picture indicates a bright, aqua/sky blue color and that is what was received. The other thing I noticed is the brown marker, both tips produced s fine line. Maybe the brush style needs broken in a bit? I also noticed the purple shade is a very dark shade of purple. On things like bread, I’m not sure if it will look like purple or more like black? I only note these small nuances in case that is important to someone. They don’t bother me at all. I’m used to having 5 shades to pick from in my last set, so to have all these color options and dual-top will be really nice.I use food markers every so often for bento box food art, to add a little detail to food items my child will be eating. I had a pack of 5 from Wilton for a number years that still work. They say they are very fine tip, which is not the case. I was tired of trying to draw on breads and such and getting such sloppy results because the Wilton tips were so thick. I can’t wait to use these new ones and get more precise lines. The only nit-picky issue I have (which would not prevent me from buying in the future), is the design of the dual tipped caps. I wish one of the ends were different from the other to help signify that one cap was the finer tip vs the brush tip. When I pack my bento lunches in the morning, time is of essence, I am often in a rush. I get up close to the ungodly hour of 5:30 to have the lunch packed in time to get my kid to the bus stop on time. It’s a difference of seconds, but it really does make a difference on the days I’m making a “fancier” lunch that requires a few more added detail, which might include using these food markers. And having to fumble with which end I need is one more step I’d rather not need to make when my brain is still fuzzy.

I made these cinnamoroll macarons using these food-safe pens, and they worked perfectly. Im not skilled with icing art, so I’m thrilled to have found these easy-to-use, super cute pens! >ᴗ
Love them very sturdy and great quality

Let me start with the pigmentation. They arnt as pigmented as other markers but if you go over it twice you’ll get that darker color. I do wish the tips were easier to work with as I do cookie decorating. So far they are okay.

I ordered these for my daughters’ “rainbow, unicorn, dinosaur, princess” birthday party. One of my twins had “painted” cookies at an event and loved it, and and so had specially asked to do that again. I used to decorate sugar cookies as a side business so the idea of frosting and sprinkles EVERYWHERE with a bunch of 4 year olds was enough to make my head spin. But no, she wanted to “paint” the cookies like she did at the event. I made simple sugar cookies, dipped them in a glaze and let them dry. I put these markers out on the table in a jar and let the kids go to town. Hands down, this was the most popular activity at the party! The kids LOVED it and had so much fun. The colors come out nicely and are easy to use. I did a few of these pictures and my 4 year old did the others, but we all had a blast using them. I love that they have 2 different tip styles. My only complaint would be the flavor, but I also understand it’s not easy to get vivid color with a flavorful MARKER. All said and done I would highly recommend

These edible markers worked really well for what I needed. I used them to decorate Oreos dipped in icing for my son’s sports themed Birthday party. I received lots of compliments on the cookies not just for the taste but for how cute they turned out because of these markers.

Frosted cookies with royal icing to create a hard surface for decorating. Then the artists, both adults and children, had their fun!

Very disappointed - I'm not sure did I just get a bad batch of markers, as so many of the other reviews for this item are great - which is what led me to purchase them in the first place.I had some important family events coming up for which I was baking a range of stamped cookies and planned to do a mixture of icing and markers on them. The icing came out great but the markers ... just terrible. I used one side of the brown one to colour in hair on one cookie - and then it stopped working!! The black is like a cheap eyeliner pencil - very patchy just for filling in outlines. The red worked fine for a few cookies and then began same as the black - very patchy outlines (like a child's colouring crayon that misses patches here and there.)These aren't returnable so I'm pretty disappointed to be out the cost of them and to have not had any luck to get them working. Would not recommend to others
