My FEP failed and the I forgot to put a screen protector on. After trying to recover the screen, for days, I have up and bought this replacement. Works exactly as needed! Easy to install, too!

I had recently had an issue with my lcd screen on my photon mono 4k blacking out. I took a chance on this replacement and boom it payed off! The install was fairly quick and painless and i was up and running prints again in like 15 minutes. It only required an Allen key to do the replacement. The rest of it was just taking off the old connector to the screen and popping in the new one. There is no mechanical intuition needed.Just be cautious when reconnecting the screen. The pins are really tiny and i could see them breaking easily.Also when putting the bottom panel back on make sure the ribbon cables are not in the way.

have not had a good print from this replacement thought i would save money. doens't save money if it doesn't work as good as the original

I had the unfortunate even of the screen ripping off the printer when trying to remove the vat cause a small hole allowed resin to get between the vat and the screen, creating a suction and when trying to remove it, it ripped it out. Installation was simple and straight froward. Everything works great.

Other brands have cheaper 3rd party screens, but Anycubic printers are less expensive, so it's a fair trade off. Remember to clean your FEP between prints so you don't crack your screen.

For some reason I fail to understand, AnyCubic decided to coat their led screen with a thin layer of plastic. This fails dismally to protect the screen underneath from anything as the slightest scratch on this surface and anything printing over that mark will fail. It is absolutely essential that a protective extra layer of a screen protector is added over the screen, or potential disaster awaits. I lost my first screen that way after a catastrophic fail of the FEP allowed a large quantity of resin to pour over the machine from the tank. This resin managed to get past the tape seal around the screen and get onto the perspex screen that sits under the led screen. Complete disaster.At the time, replacement screens were almost as expensive as a new printer, so I put that printer into storage and bought a new one. Now that the cost has come down a bit, I figured it was time to replace the screen.This is quite a fiddle to get it fitted properly. There are videos on YouTube showing instructions on how to do it. I strongly recommend you watch those before making any attempt to replace the screen. Watch the video a few times before slowly following the instructions, and be very, very careful. The screen is extremely fragile so you must be careful, gentle and cautious. If you crack it, it's done, you will need a new one.The data cable for this is an interesting shape, and possibly one of the strangest designs I've seen. This also is very easy to damage, so you need to be extra careful with this, and it's placement and feeding it through the machine. You'll see what I mean when you watch the videos.This screen is, as far as I can tell, precisely the same as the screen that the printer comes with.Once installed, you will need to run the basic start up tests to make sure it is working.Once all of that is done, you can get back to printing.Please, do not forget to add a screen protector to this item once it is fitted (and before you add the sealing tape around the screen). This might be a bit fiddly as you need to make sure there are no bubbles, no dust and no hairs trapped between the protector and the LED screen. This screen protector though, is absolutely essential, you cannot skip that step. Without it you stand a chance of damaging the surface of the led screen, and that cannot be repaired. Once it's scratched, it's done.Good luck.This replacement screen is well made, clean, and fits well. It works perfectly once fitted and there is no difference between this and the original screen.Delivery for me was very quick, the screen comes well packaged in a foam, inside a strong cardboard box and inside another shipping box. Even though the delivery company managed to crush a corner of the box and buckle another one, the screen was perfect.
