After purchasing the grip extension for the R8, I decided I would like one for the R7. There are not a whole lot of options out there so I decided to give this one a try. I am happy to say it is well made, fits securely, and feels good ergonically. The hinged piece has a little bit of spring back, so I don't feel worried about it coming open while in my bag. I'll update my review if I run into any issues in the future.

I’m disheartened that Canon doesn’t make a battery grip for its own product. That to me is crazy, however, this extended grip works perfectly. It is one of the most simple but yet effective parts of my canon R seven.

I guess when you are about the only company making a part like this you can charge whatever you want. It's a piece of metal...thats about it. It is solidly made and fits the camera perfectly. No complaints. Gives just that little bit of extra space to grip the camera with a heavy lens. But again, not worth $70.

I have long fingers and the WEPOTO plate makes it much easier to hold my camera. Changing the battery is easy.

I don't have particularly big hands but I had some issues holding the R7 until I added the grip. It makes holding the R7 body easier.

This item is a good compromise for the lack of a battery grip for the Canon R7. It adds just the right amount of extension to accommodate your hand and allows access to the battery without having to remove it.

グリップ面積が大きくなり600mm望遠レンズにも対応出来る様になりました、バッテリー交換もスムーズに行うことが出来て価格は高目ですが買って良かったです。

r7で100-500の望遠レンズを付けると重さ小指が余る持ちにくいって事無いですが？改善してくれます。コスパ悪いですが買って使ってみると持ちやすいですが価格が高い5-6000円位なら⭐️5中華製で磁石で工具をとめるのとかいらないから作って欲しい

RF100-300mmと組み合わせた時にフロントヘビーになるのが解消された。グリップも指が窮屈でなくなったのでカメラを振り回した時の安定感が増した。総じて良い商品。

用途からR7にしたが、手が大きい私にはちょっと握りが狭く不満があったので、こちらを購入。金属製なので重さが増加(増加と言っても130gですが)してしまうが、握りに余裕ができるので+-0です。バッテリー交換も考えらているので(ギミック気に入ってるｗ)、使い勝手はいいです。ただ、レンズをつけたままギミックを開きすぎると、レンズに干渉するので注意が必要ですね。気になったのは、下側に六角レンチが収納されているのですが、クリップなどでとまっているではなく小さな磁石で六角レンチがとまっていますので、磁気カードの上に置く(置くことは無いけど)と影響がでるかもですね。本体側には磁力が通らないようですので本体への影響はないと思われます。あと、値段が少し高い気がしています。が、今のところ選択肢がないので・・・
