I was a little worried about buying this clutch interlock switch as Ford quit making them. This seller had the best price and the hard to get part was an exact OEM replacement. I highly recommend this seller!

The spring on my old clutch interlock switch was in such bad shape, I was having all kinds of trouble starting my 93 F-150. As a result of that, I wouldn't take it more than a few miles from home due to fear of being stranded. I ordered one of these due to the solid reviews. I was able to install this in my truck in about an hour, including removal of the old one. Please note that I have no practical experience in any kind of automotive work and did this with nothing more than the device, a couple tools, and a video from the internet. Now my truck starts like a champ and I'm driving it all over town.

The contract space on this interlock is much longer then the one from Ford, meaning you don’t have to push the clutch all the way to the bottom or try to hit a sweet spot. I have a 1996 F250 7.3 powerstroke with a zf5 manual transmission and it was pretty easy to replace and currently works perfect. Watched a replacement video of how to remove it on a ford ranger and it worked and saved me a lot of money.

Switch is an interlock for starting and cruise control. Installed new Switch everything works as designed....

I don't know about anyone else's truck, but the clutch safety switch in my 1994 XL has a thick metal contact actuator, not a thin plastic one? The plastic one that engages the shaft step on this replacement is incredible flexible, and I just don't see how it could possibly hold up to use for very long. I can flex it with my pinkie finger. Sent it back.

Used YouTube to figure out how to install the switch. The switch fit perfectly and worked perfectly. Glad things for old trucks are still available! Thank you!

Directly bolts in easy to install Works like a charm. Might even be better than factory.

Install was easy, part matched my 1992 f-350 exactly. Started right after install no problem. Went to start next morning and when clutch was depressed heard a loud pop from the sensor and truck would not turn over.Returning and ordering a new one In hopes that it is faulty.
