Unfortunately, my Apple IPAD software does NOT like this battery and it continues to shut off uncommanded. Not the battery....everything I needed to install it worked great...its the Apple product.

I was disappointed with this kit. Got it to replace a battery that had very low capacity due to age.The tools seemed to work OK (4 stars for those), but the screen adhesive strips were just plain straight 3M strips; not the pre-cut style shown in the pic. And then after all the delicate work of replacing the battery, it wouldn't charge. My iPad worked again, but it refused to take a charge. Ended up dying on the charger trying to calibrate the battery and nothing I do can get it to work.Think very hard before doing this job at all if you're not very experienced/tech-savvy, and it looks like I'm one of the unlucky customers who got a bad battery, so you're taking your chances with this kit.

Had a first generation 12.9 pro that was WAY out of warrantee. Bought the battery kit and watched the YouTube instructions. Took about an hour, going slowly and using the great tools that came with the kit. Powered it up before using the double sided tape to put it back together. Works great.

The kit itself has almost everything you need to fix the ipad.BUT, there is a BIG BUT. You need to know some fundamental knowledge first,How to remove the back cover? What temperature shall be the best one?I think missing essential support info from the factory shall be blamed for, and so i would only give 3 stars.

Tools were nice and acceptable, earning a star. The battery was defective and returned. Installation was smooth enough though the kit does not contain a suction cup, I have my own. Multiple iPad disassemblies to finalize diagnosis of a bad new battery we’re not fun.

I’ve bought three different lithium batteries from this brand. One for an iPhone X, a 12.9 iPad Pro and another for a regular ipad. All work great. No issues. Would buy again.
