This product sucks. Initially the shade fits. Over time the shade reduces in size or shifts I don’t understand. A month after buying this the shade won’t stay in place. The slightest amount of breeze will dislodge the shade in all corners of the glass. Definitely a safety concern as it could alter your vision while driving.

I was debating the 4 vs. 5 star, and had to go with 5 since the issues I have are so minor relative to the quality of life improvement this sun shade brings.Materials:Quality construction and easy to unfold. This has probably been packed in its folded form for a while before I opened it, but there were no permanent wrinkles in the fabric and the metal frame popped out to flat structure (vs. being permanently bent from storage). The outside reflective layer is a nice touch and probably works better at reflecting sunlight and heat vs. no shiny-ness. The inside layer feels like alcantara/suede (and makes me wish the interior of the car were made of the same material!). I chose black because I prefer the inside of the car to be darker when I drive - I feel like especially at night, any oncoming lights would reflect off the white material and be overly distracting.Installation:Pretty straightforward installation - the covers fit extremely snugly, and while I was able to get the clips in on the individual panels, once they were fit in, I couldn't get the "middle" clips in to connect the two panels. However, those are probably unnecessary because the panels fit so tightly into the sunroof that the clips aren't even really necessary at all. There is no sag, no rattle, and once they're in, they're almost unnoticeable (from the driver's seat at least).Effectiveness:I finally put this in before going to Palm Springs for the weekend and I'm so glad I did. It's a couple hours of a very sunny drive, and while my arm cooked a little bit from the side windows, I didn't feel my head burning from the sun coming in from up top. The car stayed a decent climate without having to crank the AC, and coming back to the car after parking outside seemed like the car was still hot, but much less hot than it would have been without the shade.The only gripe I have are the branding tags - wish they could be a little more discreet, but I feel like most people won't be bothered by it.If you live in hot/sunny climates, this is a must purchase!
