I needed to replace the lock cores on a Thule T2 Pro XTR Hitch Bike Rack purchased on marketplace and these lock cores were exactly what I needed. All four cores use the same key, reducing the hassle of carrying multiple keys.They are robust and designed to withstand tampering, providing excellent security for my expensive bikes. Why on earth the big-T thinks we should have to pay $60 for a set of locks is beyond me. These "replacement" lock cores worked perfectly.The install was pretty simple, required a tiny bit of wiggling to get the lock cores into place. Once in, the keys smoothly locked the cylinders into a place.This was a completely smooth install, 5 out of 5 stars! Would 100% buy again!

Cylinders are not thule compatible. The key doesn't even match the type.Don't buy if you want to keep same thule key system.If you want a complete new set it's ok.

Thule charges a lot for their branded lock sets. These fit Thule racks and carriers the same, but for a fraction of the price. One out of four was a bit finniky to install, but once it was in place it worked fine.

I bought these to replace the plastic cores on my new Hyundai roof racks, which I think are made by Thule. They work great! It was easy to pop out the old plastic cores and insert the locking cores. They didn't come with instructions though, but one of the pictures on this Amazon page shows how to install them. You have to insert them with the silver "master" key already inside. Once they're inserted, remove the master key, then use one of the two regular keys to twist it to the lock position.

Couldnt remove my thule lock cylinder with the master key, lost my keys and needed an easy replacment. Didnt work. So if your in the same shoes as me, dont buy it. The only way to get it out is to drilled out your old lock. Youtube it. I just use a decent size and drilled away.

They fit perfectly and work seamlessly with Thule bike racks and roof racks. Easy to install and reliable, they offer excellent value. Compared to the original Thule lock cores, this one does the same job for a much better price! A great budget-friendly alternative!!

Had to work a vit to get the old ones out since I lost the key. A bit of work to install the new ones but they work perfectly as described. I definitely recommend these.

Ok the price is right, but there's a lot to know about this. One you need the master key for Thule in order to remove that lock before you and use that one. So there's another price consideration. Once the lock is off this lock will fit. You do have to press down that metal tab and it will slide in. But you cannot take it out afterwards. That little tab you pressed it won't go down like the original Thule lock. You have to drill it out. For this reason I could not return these keys. I am very disappointed and wish I just got the original Thule lock. It should have cost me about $30 more if I went that route. So I will attempt to use this now, but I know I will end up drilling it out and spending more and throwing these out.
