I purchased one set of these drums, 10 in and 8 in. to try out.I was happy with the quality, so I ordered 10 more sets for my classroom.They have held up well, and the the pitch is consistent within each size, so I can have the kids on an 8 in. while I play a 10 in. and they can distinguish my drum from the others.I plan to purchase more in the future. Great little hand drums.Note: We don't use the wooden sticks that came with the drums, we use the soft rainbow mallets.

I was thinking that due to the price and material these would not sound as good as a more expensive version. I WAS WRONG! These sound SO MUCH BETTER than my pricey hand drum. VERY HAPPY!!! Highly recommend. Great sound, easy to hold, wonderful to have mallets, but sounds just as good with your hand.

My 23 month old grandson loves drumming. Any surface (coffee table, plate, top of a can ...) and any tool he can get his hands on (spoon, fork, pencils) becomes a drum and drum stick. So when we got these for him, you can hardly tear him away from them. Initially I thought he could use the smaller one and Poppy could use the larger one, and they could play together. But he quickly took claim to both and absolutely loves them. This was a great value. I’d definitely buy them again. The quality is top notch.

Great looking drums. Rugged. Good price, but the drum heads are so loose that they have no pitch. I bought 12 and all of them are the same. And no way to tighten the heads. Because of that alone, they are toys for youngsters.

I wanted something for 6 year olds that would actually sound like a drum. Many inexpensive drums, bongos, etc reported loose skins or other problems. This would make them sound flat and no better than banging on a book. These sound like drums and the 2 sizes give 2 tones. Might not last forever, but for the price are just what I want. If the kids show interest, I can upgrade later.
