These are nice simple cymbals, no engraving or anything fancy but they do the job and are a steal for the price

I've developed a collection of random small percussion instruments and whistle/flute type instruments for interesting sound effects in audio recordings. I didn't have any of these so I was happy to see them, although I didn't need so many LOL. I was really shocked to see the great quality of these zills, and given the low price, I was kind of thinking they might be cheap tin carnival type toys, but they are pretty nice thick solid brass that have a great ring to them. They are just like miniature drum cymbals! I did a little investigating, and someone recommended they have 2 holes, but I prefer the single round hole in the center. I would believe that being symmetrically round with a smaller area would provide better sustain instead of 2 slots which might dampen the tone slightly. I know the brim rings more than the bell part, but I prefer the look as well. The elastic bands easily slip out and can be adjusted to any length for a tighter fit, but you get plenty of elastic to experiment with. These are really great and I'm impressed, thanks for offering them.
