So I ordered a Chinese version and installed it and I assumed it was fine but my heater still didnt work. So I was looking at other areas to locate ptoblem. After spending hours and finding everything else was working fine I decided to order the real thing (genuine Ford part). And guess what? It worked beautifully and problem solved. Last time I order cheap junk and eliminate waisting several hours diagnosing because of a cheap junk part. Never again. This part is xlnt quality at a great price!!

25 years OEM Ford service and parts experience dictates that genuine factory parts fit and work best. I have used replacements as well with good success, but…for a few bucks more just buy the genuine article. Two day ship was an extra bonus. Had it on and vehicle running in 45 minutes. Spend $13…you get $13 worth. If it has to be dependable, OEM is best.

I'm quite happy with this valve. Looks and fits exactly like the factory original, which failed after 25 years. Shipping package was too flimsy in my opinion. Box had popped open within an unpadded plastic bag.

Love product to recirculate coolant back to system and close off heater core for better a/c cooling. 1994 Ford F-150.

Old one cracked and leaked from location near exhaust manifold but shielded new one with sheet metal.been one year and no leaks

Always go OEM when possibleMy HCV started leaking when it was on and with it being late October I would really appreciate having heat. Had this delivered to my door the next day for $35. It was a simple project to work on with my 97 Explorer 4WD. All you'll need is a drain pan + container for a partial coolant drain, and a decent pair of pliers for the clamps and hoses. Just remember which one goes were.
