Buy it here, best price anywhere, plus free shipping. Dealer wanted over $250 just for the oil pan and another $90 for the dipstick tube. This is a complete kit, oil pan, dipstick and tube, gasket and new pick up tube/stud. I bought this for my F350 4x4 Dump, it fit perfect, down to the mounting tab on the dipstick tube being exact. I fell into place on the manifold mounting stud.Top quality Ford Racing parts, Ford OE numbered part. No reason to pay at least double at other online sites, gouged at the dealer or taking a chance on a used pan because it will rust out if it hasn't already started. The factory oil pans all rust. It is not necessary to pull the motor on F250 or F350 trucks to change the pan....

Ordered this pan set for a 1984 Mercury Capri that I am installing a 1973 460 Ford into. As with all the Ford Motorsport products I have ordered the quality is top notch and fit perfectly. No issues at all. I am using a tubular K member so it clears fine. After seeing it installed I can see that the stock steel factory front crossmember would clear as well, BUT much more clearance with a tubular version that I have and better for header clearance.Order this swap pan with confidence. Great product that delivers as promised.

So far works good after install. I did half to change oil pump due to being wrong… which was fine went with a high vol anyway.

Best oil pan gasket going, perfect for leak free operation. If you plan to install on an early engine (Pre-1996?) you will need to buy double ended threaded studs with 5/16-18 threads on one side and 1/4-20 threads on the other or do what I did and drill out the 5/16-18 threads at the oil pan corners by the crankshaft and replace with 1/4-20 thread inserts.

installed this pan and gasket started engine and had a leak at the rear of the pan , just below the rear cap 1/2 inch below the mounting surface there is a line in the pan I remember looking at it before I installed the pan and it looked like a stamping line didn't think much of it. pressure tested crankcase found oil and air leaking from this line . back out with engine and sure enough there is a hair line fracture nothing touching the pan internal and used the gasket that came with the kit. unable to return due to time. everything else in the kit was good, maybe just a fluke but for anyone else, before you install the pan inspect it first with a light or something and check it after you bolt it down , you could save yourself a whole Saturday !

This oil pan fit perfect on my 460. I had to bend the dipstick tube to fit around my headers but it still worked like it should. The oil pan is black not chrome, need to update the photo.

The ONLY place I was able to get a rear-sump pickup for my 1987 F-250. No parts stores carried this. The pickup in this kit mounts to the 4th journal on a Ford 460 and fits perfectly. The pickup in this kit is Ford part number E4HE-6622-CA.

It was the wrong part, didn’t fit and sent back, it’s been almost a month and I still haven’t got my money returned, will post in a bit on the progress
