Think about it like this - no matter what brand you buy this is an inexpensive part that requires an excessive amount of labor to replace. Therefore doesn't it make sense that you would spend a few extra bucks to ensure that you replace your old leaky one with the best replacement available? I've been working on and building Ford Windsor engines over 25yrs, and I can confidently say this is the best rear main seal you can buy for those engines.

I replaced the rear main seal on my 88 Mustang with this Ford Racing seal along with the Felpro rear main sleeve. Started leaking after 1 month. Not what I expected
