Constructed of all stainless steel with solid rod well welded to central heavy gauge tube… this is a forever tool. I was almost swayed to go with a cheaper version due to price… so happy I didn’t!

This Porta wrap is good quality. I wouldn't say it's the best but you can spend a lot on these. It should function great and the finish is nice. Just not overly impressed with the welds.

The welds had cracks and the first time I used it there were tiny burrs sticking up draining my rope instantly.

It's small as hell not medium. The cap has rivets holding it on and one side straight out of box is gone so it's loose and floppy.

This is an interesting little unit, sort of a baby brother version of the full sized port a wrap. Mine has decent looking welds, but a porta wrap is not where I want Ok-ish looking welds. Due to the rated weight limit and the robo-welds, I'm going to keep this to light use, and not shock load it too much. For the price, it's an ok value.
