- A2: You can clean the forklift cover with a soft bristle brush or damp rag. Let the cover dry before putting it in a storage bag. Please do not wash the forklift cover in a washing machine.

I keep my forklift outside year round and the weather without protection for the driver cab area can really take a beating and deteriorate over time if not protected from the elements. My lift has a thick heavy plastic sheet on the upper safety cage that is very good at protecting from rain and I tarp the underside also with a quick throw fabric waterproof breathable cover. That's because in the summer I use it a lot. But in the off winter season, I need better all-around weather protection which this is great for my needs. I put it on before the snow, and let it go until spring. Good item for equipment protection.

Got this forklift cover for my Yale ERC040VA36V electric powered forklift. Cover is slightly oversized but fits better than the tarp I had been using. It had a water proof zipper to allow access to the interior while the cover is in place. It has two straps with plastic buckles on the bottom edge. One is from to back, the other side to side. I would have likewise the straps to be a little more heavy duty, but they will get the job done. There is a tag sewn into the front bottom edge so you can easily orient the cover. There is an opening on either side with reflective tape on the covering flap. Not sure what this was for, it was not described in the instructions. It comes with a large storage pouch with a drawstring so you can store the cover when it is not in use. The outside is waterproof and inside is soft similar to rain jacket material.

I used this cover on our portable saw mill head. The cover is easy to put on and is holding up to our constant rain and wind in Alaska. It would work great on a fork lift or any small piece of equipment

We don't have a forklift, but we have a scissors lift that needs protection from dust, dirt and birds. This was an almost perfect fit for our lift. It has a felt backing and very heavy duty. Will work great at protecting this piece of equipment. It does a zipper for the door area of the fork lift, but we just positioned the cover to let the zipper be at the stairs to the lift. I has buckles to help keep it in place so it won't blow off in the wind. It is also a very good weather proof cover as well. It's a tiny bit big for our use, but is as close to anything else we could have tried. Very happy with this cover.
