These worked perfect easy to adjust once you jack up the area with a floor jack. These are not designed to pick up weight but they will carry the eight once the area has been jacked up.

Cheap enough for 1 time use but pipe is slightly oversized for the cap so heavier lifts a liable to tip over from the cap with the spiral compressing in to the pipe.

Do not buy unless you have a welder and wish to take the time to grind back the paint on the columns and weld the threaded caps to them. The caps are smaller than they should be for the tube and will push down in to tubes if enough pressure is put on them. Score one for Chinese tolerances.

Bought a four pack everyone failed where the crank actually pushed itself into the pole .... Seems like poles should be a smaller diameter so the collar doesn't fall threw. Horrible don't buy

Used to support 100 year old floor joists in a crawl space. Like that the top plate will swivel on the shaft. This helps with alignment and height adjustment. Wish that the support tube was welded to the base. If I had a welder I would of done this. But once the weight is borne by the jack, it is stable and stays in place.

I just was able to use 2 of the four post and they have damaged threads. I have to use a vise tho get the bolt to turn. Not so good when I under a crawl space.

I've read where one customer wrote the round screw nut pushed into the tube under pressure I eliminated that problem by tack welding it. Either the tube needs to be smaller or the round nut needs to be bigger but welding it fixed the problem. can't beat the price of four of them .Home Depot wanted $30 plus for one
