This is exactly what I was looking for. Small, affordable, Bluetooth, power my passive bookshelf speakers well. Attempting to hook up a powered subwoofer to it tonight, fingers crossed.I tied to find a basic hifi system but couldn’t understand all the terms they were using making it super difficult. This was so easy to set up for a non stereo guy. Sounds great. I love the look and build quality.

After my big ‘stereo down size’ about 6-8 years ago, I ran my streamers into a Kinter K2020a+ and a Polk Audio shelf speaker set… and I was as happy as a kid in a candy shop. Recently I sensed one of the channels was beginning to get a little less clean and decided to cast around for an upgrade. I actually had the next model down (BT10?) in my basket, read about the more powerful BT20 Pro, and made the leap. Glad I did!Product is elegantly packaged. Bluetooth connection was a breeze. Press the volume knob for 5 seconds to disconnect BT and connect to another source. EQ is simple and effective. I truly dig the way under stated light gray steel appearance, Power switch and 3 knobs on the face. Device feels solid. Dual speaker connection types, easy to hook up. Less is more.Proof is in the pudding - the sound.. and it doesn’t disappoint. Versus the Kinter (which, of course, does not punch as many watts) it is clearer and deeper, and, if you want, much louder. For me the key is clarity at a lower volume (I am running it as sound in a modest art studio). Whether it is piano jazz from Fergus McCreadie, new acoustic from Halaiker, experimental from Ezra Feinberg or African string music… it all comes thru in great style. It will rattle the windows if turned up, but I really love the clear almost analog sound of all my genres at medium to low levels. Great stuff and worth the modest $ upchrge.

I bought this to use as a “loaner” setup to lend to a friend who doesn’t have her own amp/receiver, and before I let it go I hooked it up to my vintage Sansui SP-1200 speakers.I don’t think I am going to loan it out after all 😂Nice little unit which takes up much less space than a full sized receiver, which is really handy if space is limited or you’ve only got one main receiver & speaker setup, but want to use some other speakers elsewhere. It would be very portable as well.It has a very solid build quality, it looks and feels well made. The body is metal and so are the knobs and switch; none of the parts or pieces feel chintzy to the touch. My Sansui SP-1200s are 3-way, 5 driver speakers which include a single large ~10” ported sub, 2 mids and 2 tweeters. They are rated at 60W power input, sensitivity of 92dB, 8ohms impedance. The amp makes these speakers SING! Music listened to so far has been (volume cranked) Marcus King, The Teskey Brothers, local fave Ty Pow & The Holy North (do yourself a favor and look them up), Led Zeppelin louder than is comfortable for my ears, some Tribe Called Quest (bass is nice & clean, vocal clarity also good, full range of sound) as well as some jazz and classical (softer volume, lol).My speakers were able to handle the amp turned up pretty loud as well; volume at the 1 o’clock position was comfortably loud filling a living room, 3 o’clock is about as loud as I ran it and you can feel the music in the floors. (For reference, min volume is at 7 o’clock, increasing clockwise, with max all the way around thru 12 to nearly 6 o’clock).Speaker wire inputs look like they are only banana jack ready from product pictures, but they also unscrew to accept a bare speaker wire or a pin-type wire end. I got some of the screw-on type banana ends to put on my bare wires. Fit is nice and tight in the plugs.Note that the power supply which comes in the box provides 32v, and as another customer mentioned, you won’t get the full 300W output without purchasing a 48v power supply.Related to this, the output rating of 300W is into 4ohms, so with speakers like mine rated at 8ohms impedance, the amp will output approx 150W.It should also be noted that if you’ve got some bookshelf speakers or other small speakers which can’t handle the power output (rated power handling of the speakers, and impedance, should be listed on the back of your speaker cabinets), you can use this but you’ll have to keep the volume turned down so you don’t blow them. The amp says it is rated to handle “terminating impedances” from 2-8ohms. Most speakers will be between 4-8ohms.Happy listening!

I have some homemade 4 ohm speakers that sounded great with my $350 STR-DH590 Sony receiver. Unfortunately, the Sony wasn't rated for 4 ohm speakers, and after about 12 months of use, my receiver keeps going into "Protect" mode to keep it from destroying itself. I investigated and found out what I was doing wrong.I found this to replace it which is actually rated for 4 ohm speakers. It works fine from my computer's bluetooth, the price is right, but the sound just isn't as good as it used to be. There is no static or popping. I can switch back to my Sony for a short time and hear the difference. The audio just doesn't sound as rich. Sorry, I can't be more objective. Since this is in my garage workshop, I'm not too picky.

I'm not audiophile or even super knowledgeable on the topic of amplification, etc. Plenty of great places to research these little amplifiers.I set this up for my dad in a room that is ~11' x 11' with 8' ceiling. With 14 gauge speaker cable from BT20A to a pair of KEF Q150s (6" from wall, inserting the port foam made a BIG difference in sound quality), I really liked the sound...both CD's (my dad!!) and Apple Music streaming. Warm, rich, full.I really appreciated being able to turn up the treble control on the BT20A, I felt the KEF's needed that. At ~7 on volume knob, it was as loud as my dad would ever play it.Bluetooth was easy, as you'd expect. True you need to turn off bluetooth if you want to play CD's (from the RCA inputs).I wouldn't use the BT20A in a room larger than 13' x 13' x 8'...I'd be nervous it wouldn't get as loud as I'd like. Alternatively, I do thing the KEF Q 150's might need more amplification than my ELAC's...but I've not done a ton of research. I A/B'd the KEF and ELACs, and the ELACs played a little louder than the KEFs at the same volume level (on the BT20A).All in all, this amp is fantastic and easy to use in a 120 square foot room. I love it, may get one for myself.

This is a honest review of FOSI BT20A PRO.After trying a few Inexpensive yet good class D amps, I decided to go for the fosi bt20a pro, as its based on Tpa3255 and has the bluetooth & rca connection options (till 6.months back there were too few BT amps from fosi or aiyima)Here is my reviewBuild :Pretty solid, everything is upto the mark, the aluminium used high grade anodised one, no creaks and squeaks anywhere when you hold the amp.All the three knobs (bass treble and Volume) are sturdy but somehow the one I got had a kinna wobbly volume knob, dunno if it's just me or this is the way it is.The back connectors and sockets are placed pretty close to each other but with some small maneuvering everything can be pushed, tied and fixed.AccessoriesThere comes a bluetooth antenna the standard one & decent enough, which you have to add yourself.POWER SUPPLY : the amp is rated to work from 24v to 48v power supply but is shipped with a Fosi branded 32V 5A one.. It does what is expected of it and the output is sufficient..(at lest fir my use case scenario is more than enough)The wire provided with the power supply adapter is of adequate length, the block and wires all look decent and feel study enough . Checked its voltage and it does produce what is claimed 32.4V to 32.5V.Functionality..Bluetooth connects in a jiffy and the coverage is good.Kinna tricky sometimes to get the connection changed but by and large it's easy to switch from BT to RCAThere is also a socket of 3.5mm pre out at the back which can be used to supply signals to an active subwoofer which is awesome in my view... But I don't think I ll ever need that because the amp giving enough thump already with the pair or my Sony passive speakers. This same socket can be used to connect this amplifier as a preamp to another amplifier if you want..ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING :The amp comes with replaceable op amp chips, (which require the user to remove the screws and slide out the motherboard and then chnage the op amp chips) the more enthusiastic audiophiles who like to experiment with different sound signatures can change them according to their preference.. FOSI has suggested a number of op amp chips that one can try after purchasing them from market or from online.. (there a few available at Amazon India as well)In my personal view it is sounding pretty good as it is so for majority of users there is absolutely no need to experiment with the op amp chips.Audio qualityPlease note I use my SONY BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS with this.. The one which came with my Az2d music system they have a kind of plasticky cone hence the bass is pretty tight and I love that.Via Bluetooth it sounded pretty decent (please note I use Spotify with highest streaming audio quality on an iPhone)Through RCA I stream via my Google chromecast audio and the sound is fantastic.Over all its pretty loud, the tone knobs do a good job and the best part is there is a neutral point for both bass and Treble exactly in the center so you get a good reference point..The low freq response is awesome which is genuinely deep and tight, the high freq are pretty good too but may be a bit more wanting like 10% lesser than the bass response... But that's just me... Over all it has played everything nicely that I have thrown at it... Mids are pretty good ( as you are to manage the mids via your preamp etc, you can further enhance them as well)Be it the jazz, or Bollywood music, or ghazals by Mehdi Hassan and Live Indian Classical renditions in both vocal and instrumental, it played everything nicely (of course you have to adjust the knobs according to the type of music as well as the source quality)Edit : after using for more than a month I can say the sound is pretty neutral and with a wide stage, the high frequencies need a tad extra kick for my liking so I am trying to arrange a preamp now to boost the quality further..But one thing is for sure, via Google chromecast audio (which technically means that there is a proper DAC before the RCA input (as the GCA has a dedicated DAC in it) this thing just sounds so great..Please note : type of drivers (speakers) plays another huge role so please use atleast half decent ones with these...All in all I am pretty happy, would have loved a fully functional remote and a knob to manage the mids too (I know that's tricky)Would have loved to have couple of more connectivity options like optical etc but I know I will never use them so doesn't matter, but having them would have been great even if just for academic purposes...In the end I can safely say that its a pretty good small packageWould highly recommend it as tpa3255 chip perfoms extremely well and with its implementation on the fosi board it produces very loud audio without much distortion... There is no hissing or clicking when the amp is idle and it doesn't get hot (that much) as well..Thanks

My Marantz PM14 broke down, bought this as an intermediate awaiting repair. I really am not sure I want the Marantz back. This is THAT good. Incredible transparancy, excellent lows. Lacking multiple inputs and remote, of course.
