I had originally gone with another brand and design of banana plug before going with these, and I sure wish I would have bought these instead. These are great! Yes, you have to work with tiny screws on the side to secure the wire, but that's what I like about them, the wires feel very secure versus a different brand I tried and the wires were harder for me to connect, and they'd fall out. These are excellent. Also, I absolutely love how they fit snug into the binding posts, they don't fall down/droop like another brand I had tried.I will be replacing every single one of the other brand with these now as they are much more stable and I feel like they will hold up.

I did lots of research before buying the brand. This is a solid product...will made and competitively priced. They're easy to use and no worries about them coming apart. They look great too.I strongly recommend this product.

These are great quality and very well made. Gives great connections, are very easy to install, and were delivered quickly as well. But the one draw back to these and this is why it didn’t get 5 stars from me. Through the actual Fospower website that makes these, this product is listed for $16.99. On Amazon its list price is $23.98 which equals out to $25.42 total price through Amazon. A pack of 20 that’s 10 more through the actual company is only $30.99. Even though this is an excellent product, always check the original company’s website before purchasing through Amazon. Prices definitely are inflated on here opposed to the company that the item comes from most times.

I was skeptical but they worked out really well. Used 14 gauge wire with them and the screws provided a solid connection to the wire and the tips fit the posts of the amp nice and tight. The idea is to use quality tools: a good wire stripper and a small quality flat head screwdriver.Don’t back out the tightening screws all the way, so that they do not fall out. Just enough for them to be flush with the barrel of the plug. Tighten nice and snug but do not over tighten them. Mine is a temporary set up so I want to use them on different wire, so I will be able to toughen the screws again. Taking time and using the right tools is the key.On my mini amp no need to use any tape around plugs or hear wrap because nothing is touching each other.

I have an Onkyo audio/video receiver along with an Emotiva amplifier. Both have speaker "post" terminals which will accept banana plugs, OR I can connect the speaker wires by unscrewing the posts, poke the speaker wires into the terminals and then tighten the posts. The problem with poking the wires into the terminals and tightening the posts vs using banana plugs is that there is a risk of the wires touching the metal on the back of the chassis or touching other speaker wires, causing a short if one is not careful. With banana plugs, they simply plug into the back/top of the posts, eliminating the rsick of a short circuit. They can also be unplugged very easily if needed. Banana plugs are DEFINITELY the preferred way to connect speakers to an receiver or amplifier if they have post-style terminals. These particular banana plugs came in a package of 12 I believe. They were very reasonably priced, and simple to connect to the end of the speaker wires. Simply unscrew the banana plugs, use a small, standard jewelry screwdriver and loosen both of the set screws, insert the speaker wire, then tighten the set screws, and then screw the banana plug back together. The plugs have either a red band which would typically be used for your "Right" speakers, or a black band which would typically be used for the "left" speakers. The banana plugs insert into the top or front of the speaker terminal posts on the amp and receiver. They fit VERY snug, and so I did have to apply just a little bit of pressure in order to insert them into the posts, but once plugged in, rest assured they're not going anywhere. They are snug.I highly recommend these.
