The product came in loose pieces in a foam package with lots of scratches. Returned right away.

The adaptor rings aren't compatible with circular ND filters. The adapter hood Blocks the circular ND from mounting to the front of the Matte box. Beyond that the Matte will well built and doesn't feel cheap.

The matte box is built very solid. The connector with the lens and box is solid and I use it on my gimbal with no worries of it falling off. The barn door stays open and doesn’t fall. Would recommend.

I feel like this mini matte box is absolutely fantastic! I mean that because in the past, I have used normal sized matte boxes which are quite bulky. I don't own a high-end RED cinema camera or any anamorphic cinema lenses either, so this is just fine to use for the "photo" lenses. I put this on my Fuji X-T3 and 16-80mm lens and I couldn't be happier.Point being that this matte box gets the job done with a smaller and lighter size without sacrificing build quality. It's really sturdy and looks good as well (check pictures)! Get it if you're looking at buying something that isn't going to disturb you during a "run-and-gun" situation.

I used this Fotga S-Light 3 Matte Box on my Fujifilm X-Pro 2. The box comes with several different adapters to affix it to different lenses (67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm). There is top French flag (aka flap), no side or bottom flags. The hood itself is carbon fiber, with a built in filter holder so you can use one size of filter (4x4 or 4x4.65) for use with different lenses, and there is a metal base on top with 1/4" and 3/8" threaded holes for accessories. Overall, a great, light weight, well built package.

...with a variety of lens diameters it only comes with 4 of the bigger diameter adaptors, so for those of us with smaller lenses we have to spend another $25 plus to be able to use the matte box. Plus if you want to add filters/mattes your going to have to hunt down the right sizes and purchase those too. Otherwise this is a well made device that will help eliminate lens flare in virtually any situation where light is from above -there are no side pieces or any means of attaching them.Having said all of that considering the price, around $70, it isn't terrible, I just think they could/should offer two kits; one with the four common larger diameter adaptors and one with the four common smaller adaptors.BTW the smaller adaptors will take almost two weeks to be delivered!

I'm using this matte box with my Lumix G7. I'm impressed with the quality, seems really well built and good materials. The screw to secure it holds tight and is big enough that I don't have to fumble with it. Has mounting points, but with a small mirrorless camera I'll stick with mounting the accessories on my stabilizer or shoe mount.
