Painting Skill
- The large brush draws a large area, the medium brush draws a small area, and the small brush draws the edge.
- When applying paint, try to keep the same direction of the strokes. You can paint the large color block first, and then the small color block.
- Acrylic paint has covering properties. It is recommended to start with light colors. It doesn't matter if there is any mistake in the painting. You can wait for the paint to dry and cover with the correct paint.
- Regarding painting, always clean the brush before coloring, the effect will be better.
- The paint cover should be tightly closed when not painting, otherwise the paint will dry up easily.
- The pen must be cleaned first when the painting is paused, the pen tip tends to get paint on it.

Love love love! Canvases came rolled (no creases!) and paint had good coverage. Had to thin with water a bit, but that’s acrylic for you!

I've done approximately 10 paint by numbers and the quality ranges greatly. This one was decent - the paint was okay quality (in comparison to other kits - not great in comparison to paint you could purchase separately but that is to be expected) and the paint areas were larger than some of the others I've done so would be good for someone who might struggle with the ones with super tiny detail. When it came together I was pleased with the result.

This was my first PBN. I really enjoyed it and it was fun to see it unfold as I was painting. Will be continuing with this craft as it’s very addicting.I just painted as is. I’ve read now you can steam the canvas to get rid of wrinkles before painting.

Vibrant colored paints is great. But canvas quality is like painting a strawberry? Overly textured, and dimpled so the paint has a harder time spreading- really annoying- I have about 150 completed paint by numbers, so please know I have seen a good vs bad canvas LOL

So far I think it is fun and somewhat easy.The third paint I opened up was on the heavy side, fortunately it didn't cover many areas, though it appears goopy and was hard to get clean smooth lines painting with it. See how goopy it looks in photo.The kit comes with absolutely NO directions.The canvas is folded and hard to get creases out of it.No idea if it can be ironed or what!Should come rolled in a tube.
