Used these to separate out some medication for injection. Overall, the caps were nice but there were a few that had defects that would not screw on to the vial. I was expecting to be able to use all of the caps, so I had to order another brand to get the job done.

I purchased these as an alternative to other vials I couldn’t find and though they work, they have high Na contamination. My application involves IONs and I found Na and Cl in these vials at unuseable levels for some samples. I think they are well made but unusable if you are performing any IC analysis. If you are performing other types of analysis it may work fine but I am surprised to find ionic contamination in the vials.

The amber vials are very light compared to even other budget amber vial options. This undoubtedly offers less protection so if you have photosensitive application you may want to look elsewhere.However these are the cheapest amber vials I could find on Amazon. Overall I’m happy with the purchase but someone who does have a photosensitive compound or an unprotected autosampler should probably consider a different brand.Pictured left: other budget brandPictured right: Four E’s vial.Other than that they’re vials and caps, they get the job done. Septum is good, PTFE is good, no injection issues with HPLC.
