As others have noted, the threaded end of this is 3/8" NPT. I have no idea what this is supposed to be for, but it WON'T work as a heater hose fitting on a GM engine.

Don't fault Amazon, fault the product supplier. This is NOT 1/2 NPT, more like 3/8 and therefore USELESS in the GM Automotive heater hose world.
