Had a bad crash and hurt both my shoulders, so wanted some protection and settled on this. First of all, the protection is phenomenal. I've since crashed 5-6 times and quite literally didn't feel a thing. I also like that you can wear it underneath your jersey and it's a lot more sleak then similar options. It's a 4.5 star product for those reasons alone. My issue though is that it's hot, and you have to wear something underneath it to avoid chaffing even though it's a tight fit. I'm in the Northeast US and ride bike parks, so it's typically hot outside, and wearing this makes it even hotter. That said, it's better than a broken clavicle, and I see riders wearing full body armor so this is definitely the superior option. If I know I'm gonna be riding black tech trails I throw it on, but if I'm riding flow/jump trails or easier tech trails, I'll just have on a t-shirt, full face and knee pads. In the spring or fall it's no big deal. Make sure you get a size that fits snug to avoid chaffing, and you could where a dry-fit type tank top underneath to keep it as cool and light as possible. I should also note that I tend to get hot quite easily and obsess over it, so it might not be as uncomfortable in those conditions for others as it is to me.

Ho acquistato una xl, taglia superiore alla mia l e veste perfettamente. Una pettorina indossabile come una maglietta ma con le protezioni tutte rimovibili a seconda delle esigenze. Le protezioni poi sono le 3d che si induriscono all'impatto garantendo un ulteriore livello di protezione. Consigliatissima a chi fa enduro come me.
