I was looking for something to take the sting off the Phoenix desert, morning chill. Previously, I would dress in layers and wear a 32degrees warm dri fit under my long sleeve jersey. But, then I would get too hot in the middle of the ride. This vest allowed me to just wear the dri fit or jersey under the vest and deflect the windchill. Then I could just take the vest off and put it in my bib pocket if I got too hot. Thin, but serves its purpose.
