The stub on the cover is too short where I cannot grasp it to remove the cover. The cover does not fit securely on the base it falls into the bowl. I assume that it was hard plastic when I purchased it. The most difficult part of it is the short stub on cover.It is not functional

Not sure why the top does not always fit the bowl perfectly. It has to sit a certain way for the top not to fall through the middle. Aesthetically it looks great and makes out taco nights cool, but in terms of functionality, there is room for improvement. I would recommend making the top bigger than the container, this way the steam can stay inside and the tortilla is served hot.

This tortilla warmer/steamer can be used for all sorts of things as it can go in the oven and as the instructions state, you should put a wet paper towel in the bottom to add moisture. You can also put all sorts of different things in this to keep them warm/moist before being eaten such as pancakes etc.There is a trick to using this one however. Due to it being made of thinner silicone, it is rather flimsy/floppy and can lose its shape while trying to lift/move it around. The only solution to this is to ensure that you have a good tight seal with the lid and then it will keep its shape.Comes With:- one tortilla warmerPros:- fits 8" tortillas- food grade silicone- oven and microwave safeCons:- you have to make sure the seal is tight or it will leak all the steam out and also be flimsy

Solid and functional. I was skeptical about getting a plastic one, but it’s actually well-made and does exactly what it’s supposed to. You could spend more on a ceramic version, but this gets the job done without the worry of it breaking in the cupboard.

This Silicone Tortilla Warmer does look nice on the table and adds come character especially when serving tortillas, however, it lacks practicality in warming since the lid does not sit snug on the bowl part. It can also test your patience as you try to line it up nice so it sits tight. I will continue to use it as a server, but find it easier to warm the tortillas in the the traditional fashion, as such, I cannot really recommend this prodcut.
