I got these specifically for my Dremel saw that will not take any blade larger than 3 in.. I use it to cut sheet metal to make plans for my work and I will purchase more when these ones burn out they're made of a decent quality in one of the very few that will actually fit in my saw

My wife had a tall order for me, to cut three 20 foot long pieces of rebar into one foot long pieces. I had the chance to evaluate these and really put them to the test.Unfortunately, it took three weeks for these blades to arrive. My wife is patient, but NOT that tolerant. In the process of cutting those pieces, I killed my oddball little German saw that used 3 inch disks. It also took a 10 pack of Hoobar Fright fiber discs.I ended up chucking these into an old industrial 110V cut-off tool. The only thing that I had to try these discs on were some 10 foot long inch rebar. I needed to cut them down to about 1 meter long pieces for a project.I ran into my first problem. I could not make a 90 degree cut. The tool was in the way, of course. I decided to cut the piece as well as I could and then go back and square them off. Afterall, one of the things I wanted to test was the longevity of the blade. For each 10 foot length, I got three pieces. One piece had a chisel point. Another piece had a birds mouth on one end. The piece from the middle had both. The pieces all came in about 41-42 inches long. rebar does not appear to be an exact science, neither were my cuts. The blade could not be positioned to make a square cut about two inches long because the tool was in the way. As it was, these fiber discs in the German cut-off tool would not have made a cut all the way across. I chunked the ends off the best that I could and then dressed the ends with an angle grinder. What I found is that these blades cut very well. If I had them in a proper cutter, I think I could cut a lot of 1/2" rebar. One reason that it took me 10 fiber discs to make 57 cuts is that they get smaller as you use them. I kept using them until I was not able to snap the rebar apart, once those discs failed to go all the way through. That would be a great reason to use these because every cut would be the same depth. The claim of 5000 cuts is pretty open. I don't think they mean that many cuts in rebar, at least the not maximum size that it can cut which would be between 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch, depending on how much clearance the tool it was on gave it. In about 50 cuts in that 1 inch, the 'paint' on the surface was burned away where it contacted the steel. The diamond coating was noticeably smoother on the used blade compared to brand new. To its credit, it never seemed to slow down, but the tool it was in never bogs down. Just because I can put a 3 inch disc on the tool doesn't mean that was the original purpose.I gave this item 4 stars. The limitations on cutting rebar would apply to any blade of this diameter. But what should have been less than a week, took 3 weeks to arrive. Amazon shipped it to me in under two days, once it reached their warehouse. The original tracking never showed that it had been shipped. I am very careful to check the tracking before complaining about late delivery. 90% of the time it is the delivery service, not the seller.

The FOXBC 3-inch diamond cut-off wheel is an excellent choice for high-performance metal cutting. It outlasts traditional abrasive discs while providing precise and clean cuts on rebar, stainless steel, and angle iron. The 3/8" arbor ensures compatibility with most rotary tools and die grinders. Durable, efficient, and cost-effective—perfect for both professionals and DIY users!

I am truly impressed on how well these stood up to the abuse of cutting rebar. They work so much better than fiber discs and have kept their aggressive edge with little wear. Nothing but good things to say, and these fit my rigid tool perfectly. My only complaint would be the price; that being said I got what I paid for and I’m pleased.

Cuts pretty well on a rigid cutoff tool. Durability seems to be good, one blade as lasted me. Fits great in my tool and comes in handy.

This FOXBC 3 Inch Diamond Cut Off Wheel is a quality disc and works perfectly with the Milwaukee M12 Cut Off Tool. There are three discs in the package. I had been using Milwaukee's composite discs; the FOXBC discs have a more aggressive abrasive and cut faster. The disc does not wear down like the composite discs. I do tend to bog down the tool regardless of the disc that I use because I find it difficult to use light pressure. These FOXBC discs work well, and I think they will last longer than the discs I had been using.
