I work mostly with Stainless steel in my artisan work. My portaband actually had trouble cutting a half inch thick piece of 300 series stainless steel, so i had to do the whole thing with one of these hacksaw blades. In the end, the blade still has life in it, and continues to cut . I cannot say how much longer It has after this massive abuse i put it through, but its not dead, and i am IMPRESSED. I will be buying more of these blades because i cut A LOT of stainless steel and sometimes a hacksaw works better in certain situations than a bandsaw.

Only I ordered 12 inch blades. Not 10. All is good though. Simple mistake forsure. I'll just get me a 10 inch hacksaw to keep around the shop. Didn't know I needed that but someone,somewhere did...lol!

I bought the bulk pack, and only use a metal saw occasionally .I only use them once so far, and cut a piece of mild steel no problem .Time will tell how long they last.
