I was skeptical of a device with this many features at this price point. It went together easily, the features work as intended and the setup was straightforward. No hiccups or hassles, it just works. The lock itself is fairly hefty and feels well made. The door locks solidly and feels secure. Note, the lock striker (?)(the part that extends and retracts when you turn the handle) has a faceplate with squared off corners. My door was cut for one with rounded corners. The other dimensions were identical so this was east to fix by just rounding them off. Fingerprint reader works quickly and fit/finish is nice. Can’t comment on battery life yet as I just installed it, but it uses AAA batteries so they will be easy enough to replace.

This smart door handle replaced a similar one from a different manufacturer, that I had accidentally broken when changing the batteries. The build quality is far superior, with the housing being made of metal instead of plastic, and the cable connector being less flimsy. Fingerprint recognition speed is noticeably faster, and the Tuya Smart app is a lot easier to use. There wasn’t a satin nickel finish option, which is what I would have preferred; be aware that the silver option is shiny.This handle can be unlocked with small keychain tags called IC cards, which is a nice option for houseguests. The IC cards that came in the box did not work, but after a couple of emails to Foxgard’s very responsive support team, I received a new set in the mail that did work.All in all, I’m very satisfied with the handle and expect that it will last quite a bit longer.

Awful lock, first day after installation, the lock worked great for about 4 or 5 hours. After installation I went in and out of the room several times with no issues, then I left to go run some errands and when I came back the lock was dead unfortunately I hadn't set up the app, and had left all the keys and everything inside the room, I had to break the door to be able to get in. Replaced the door, and took the lock apart, re installed it, everything seem to work ok, for a few weeks, and one day I tried getting inside the room and the fingerprints didn't work, luckily I had placed several tags and the two keys in different places around the house, but this has happened about 5 times now. Very unreliable.

The installation of this lock was really easy. And it worked right from the get-go with thumbprint The eight-digit codes are annoyingly long and haven't always worked consistently for us, but the thumbprints are 100%.We also just decided to add the Wi-Fi bridge/gateway so that we can unlock by voice via Alexa or our remotely on phones when out of the house.

This door handle is sleek Matt black. With many features, I like the fact that it looks like a regular doorhandle, and until you touch, it also has autolock feature, which is awesome many ways to unlock the door. A lot of thought went into the design of the doorhandle. I would definitely buy it again and recommend this product, easy installation very reasonably priced

Sorry to only give this a 3 rating. Granted it's only a doorknob so pretty easy to install. However it would be nice to have some kind of manual to show you how to set up the fingerprint and code in the box. On the box it says " Please refer to our manual and installation video for best results ". But yet it gives you no website or anyplace to find this manual or video. I finally found something on Utube or i would have returned it. Instructions aside it seems to be sturdy, looks good and if it works will be well worth the money.

We needed a solution for the back office door so multiple staff members did not have to bring keys with them. We did not want our patients/customers coming into the back area, so this provided a great solution. Locked immediately after door was closed. Worked perfect.All staff were fingerprinted. Very easy to update/add/remove fingerprint scans. It may take a couple tries for the door to unlock with fingerprint (some of it is user error), but there are 3 other options to unlock.I did not install myself, so I cannot speak to the install process. But it took little to no time for my guy to change things out.The look is sleek and modern, which matches our other door handles.We are buying another door handle for a separate door in the office. Very happy with it and works well for what we need. It has been installed for about a month now.
